What were your hits for girl early teens, and boys 8 and 11?

I am planning for next year because I love keeping lists and coming up with ideas and being prepared. So any hits this year for stockings and main gifts for those ages I’d love to give my spreadsheet a kickstart…

My 11 year old loved his air up water bottle- it was a last minute purchase and probably the biggest hit for him!

Ds favourite gift and the only thing he has told anyone about is the back scratcher.

DN got a hot diamond necklace which she absolutely adores.

Whoopee cushion and fake poo.

My DD 13 loves the Lego Orchid set I got her and went straight up to her room to put it together.

DS11 loves dressing smartly so I got him a suit from H&M and he hasn’t taken it off yet….

My 8 year old ds loved his Gravitrax set and Hotwires electrical circuits kit.

He also loved his felt art, grow your own sloth and solar system print tracksuit.

Oh @Pinkandpurplehairedlady dd got Lego roses and loved them too

I bought my friends 14 year old a mini lava lamp for her bedroom and she did me a thabkyou video she's made up with it - it was an idea from a colleague as I was struggling for ideas

My 28 year old loved the whack a mole game I got him 😁😁

Gaming desk and monitor - my 11 year old has not stopped saying how much he loves it!!

My 8 and almost 11 year old got a Gravitrax Extreme starter set to share between them and they haven't stopped playing with it since Christmas morning. Also the nearly 11 year old got a Choose Your Own Adventure book (Shadow Quest, from Usborne) also a big hit.

My 12 year old DD was absolutely thrilled with a glass engraving kit. She also loved her teddy bear blanket from Dunelm and Weird but True annual.

A lot of excitement from the paddleboard but they aren't cheap (plus need wetsuits, buoyancy aids and lessons if you don't do family watersports...)

My ds11 loved his..
Football boots, goals, Fifa, football pyjamas.. oh and a football. Bit niche though 😁😁
He always ends up with a theme.

He did also love his Harry Potter lego (which is a hangover from last years theme)

I got my early teen daughter a free standing mirror that opens up and has space to put all her jewellery, makeup etc. It also has a little shelf and mirror inside that lights up. It was a surprise present and she loved it! Added bonus is her room is so much tidier as it's all hidden away!!
