Just back from the garden centre and bought lights for the outside of the house for the first time. Kids are going to love it next year! Cost me £50. Last year I bought one of those outdoor lit reindeers for £20.

I can't see why they wouldn't be if you keep in a cool dry place and in the packaging. I'm going to be storing most of mine for then

I. Agree that lush stuff is so expensive now that even the sale prices are what the normal prices were 10 years ago. But it is stuff the kids loves

Best hope it's not too hot a summer then! 😂

LemonFrosting · 30/12/2022 16:29

I've peraonally found with lush bath bombs that they lose colour, smell and go crumbly into dust very easily when left for a while.

MidnightMeltdown · 30/12/2022 16:33

Cuwins · 30/12/2022 13:23

Finally got a lush gift set! Does anyone know will the bath bombs still be ok by next Christmas?

Not recommend. Their stuff goes bad quickly in my experience

Sideorderofchips · 30/12/2022 16:52

I'm going to hold out and I'll let you all know next year if it's lasted 🤣

It used to last

AnotherOne4 · 30/12/2022 16:55

Anyone seen any decent (sofa) cushions in the sales?

TheNewlmprovedMrsMadEvans · 30/12/2022 17:11

l still have Lush bath sets with bath Bombs in from 2 years ago . Nothing wrong with them. l stored them intact in the packaging, away from moisture .

Cuwins · 30/12/2022 17:27

Hmm well we will see what happens. I won't use them. 1 package is for my sister for her birthday in May and one for Xmas.

They have some fleecy blankets half price in Homebase. £4 each they start at. X

mac1974 · 30/12/2022 17:57

M&S had cushions on sale today. Also primark had lots of Xmas hooded fleecy blankets down to £6, big soft scarves for £3/4 which looked lovely although I've set myself a challenge not to buy anyone a scarf for next Xmas. Shame as they were really nice.

labazslovesliving · 30/12/2022 19:46

@BadgerLovesMash not sure if you're local to Liverpool Lush but they had so much Christmas stock at half price yesterday, hundreds and hundreds of boxes! I was shocked how much was still available.

I'm near Brighton so pretty far! But their lush had loads aswell today. I've bought a gift box each for dds for Easter and a load for my daughters birthday in June. Not risking buying for Christmas. Going to give each of them a voucher in their stockings for the sale!

And I mentioned it before but claires sale is brilliant instore! 5 for £10. They were still marking stuff down so probably different stuff if you revisit. I got TY beanie boos, earring holders, multipack of cute kawaii style earrings, clip on animal earrings and more! Even had some of their silver plated earrings in the sale.

Paperchase had further 50% off sale prices. I got dd a lovely backpack down from £30 to £7.50.

Smiggle had further 20% off sale prices. I got some great dinosaur snack pots for £3.20.

Poundland had Guinness world records 2023 for £3. And lots of Christmas stuff reduced. I got a 5 pack of money wallets for 25p.

Miniso had lots of lovely things in the Sale. I got some little tree ornaments for 38p, kawaii style stickers 23p, colour in canvas 68p, make a bracelet set 45p, Christmas pin £2.

Accessorize had a good sale, i got some nice scarves reduced from £20 to £5.70. I got one each for my sister and mum. I got some lovely sequinned tree decorations for £2.12. I got a ringmaster, lion, elephant, lollipop, hedgehog and a ceramic llama.

All in all I had a very successful trip real life shopping, ive got lots of bits for our bad santa game (my turn to be santa this year!) And for the girls stocking fillers! Just need the gift list app to reset for 2023 so I can put all my things in!

Oh and Whsmiths have this great cactus reduced to £6, there's one with a saxophone or guitar. It plays 6 different Christmas songs and can record you and dance/light up. It has provided DD2 with so much enjoyment and she was chuffed to spend her Xmas money on it!

woodwaj · 30/12/2022 08:53

@BadgerLovesMash some great ideas! I'm currently in a rabbit hole on vinted! Thank you!

Vinted is my new favourite place!! I have sold on there too and it's soooo much easier than ebay or Facebook! If you happen to spot any of my listings (very similar username!) I'm happy to take cheeky offers! It's mostly funko pop figures left but some clothes too.

Elpheba · 30/12/2022 20:46

I went real life shopping today- tried lush because I didn’t want to pay postage but they didn’t have any sale things at all. Best success was in WH Smith as they had a few shelves of clearance at the back with random games/polly pockets/kids science kits. Lots was half price and some things much more. Like some squishy things £1 instead of £5 and a stem mars rover kit for £4. Worth a look if you’re near one.

Blessedbethefruitz · 30/12/2022 20:55

Has anyone seen any good pencil Xmas trees? I've missed out on 2 in baskets so far as too busy looking after sick kids to finish the order!

Room4onemore · 30/12/2022 21:22

Superset had a great sale on, ordered my daughter a jumper and some sun glasses for her skiing trip

Room4onemore · 30/12/2022 21:34

I managed to get some Christmas quilt covers for the girls from next for next year but I’m looking for 2 for boys ages 12 and 17? Can’t find anything that isn’t too childish

FlamingJingleBells · 30/12/2022 22:07

Tip if buying Xmas pj's, buy them 2 sizes up because some brands are small to start with. Also, some kids grow a few sizes up & outgrow clothes a bit more quickly than expected.

IKEA have a good sale on their Christmas items. Advent calendar boxes reduced to a pound, ginger bread house & icing kits, Christmas trees & decorations.

woodwaj · 30/12/2022 23:22

I also went real life shopping today! Agree paperchase was good 50% off then another 50% off at the till. I got some Mr Men things I decided was too expensive pre Christmas for £7.13 down from 28.50! My lush had Christmas stock in which is good as they don't usually!

I got two at b and m for £4 each. They feel thin but look ok. However saw some at Aldi that felt nicer today. Also £4.
