Tesco seems to be doing a clear out of their toys, LOL balls were £2, barbie sized Harry Potter dolls were £5 & really lovely quality, all board games were reduced. It was so good, I'm going to check out another Tesco today😅

Anthropologie now have an extra 30% off their sale, obviously not cheap to begin with but I have been lucky several times in the past tracking random items in which i am interested and have had some real bargains from there. I've just bought a side table (not a Christmas gift!) and also managed to add a Christmas initial mug for DS2 after he admired mine - originally £16, now £2.80!

Thanks for that, just got lots of presents for next year at bargain prices :)

I have a 10yr old birthday coming up for DN and have lost all inspiration. She’s not into make up or anything yet but has moved from toys now really. Any ideas and bargains. Budget around £20/30 at a push. Thanks

@DuckBored my 9 year old got these Bluetooth headphones for Christmas and they have been a real hit. I don't think they are too childish, her friends liked them. We have connected them to her alexa and used them in the car too.

In my M&S the Percy Pig wrapping paper scanned at £3. It had a £1:50 sale sticker on it.

Perhaps it was a different Percy Pig design. Ah, well.

Pandora have the leather choker with a seashell charm reduced from
£50 (wouldn’t pay that mind you) to £15 - good for tweens/teens I think ….

@Therearemorequestionsthananswers it scanned at £3 first of all - the original price, but the member of staff kept trying, whilst saying she knew that couldn't be right, and then it went through at 20p. So I grabbed a few more, but there were loads left. I was so thrilled with my bargain I didn't think to look at any others/tags etc! Percy wearing a Santa hat design.

They have a good range of clothing in the sale, in sizes 6 - 26, which was a pleasant surprise.

I set up “Click and Collect” for the store in my local town and put quite a few things in my basket which the website said were available for C&C there. However, when I came to check out the website said there wasn’t a store within 25 miles of my town.

Instead I went into this mythical store. They didn’t have the things I wanted but the v helpful assistant said they could be ordered to be delivered to my home for no delivery charge. She even put them down for express delivery. It meant I could order the things which were not available for C&C for me as well as those which were.

Soon I will also have a monogrammed mug for £2.80 instead of £12. I hope it will mean that fewer people at work will use it, as nobody else there has my first initial.

Ah, it wasn’t the same, then, as my Percy had no Santa hat. It was the only PP roll there, and very torn.

I did get some earrings at 70% off, so it wasn’t a wasted journey 😀

My dd is 10, she really likes jewellery. I got some nice things in claires 3 for £5 sale. A star sign necklace, chokers and earrings. Also hair clips (big ones to put her whole hair up rather than little ones)

She also loves her fake oodie from primark (ladies XS-S), fleece blankets and hot water bottle.

In smiggle she really liked the drinks bottles and Harry potter range they've just released. In store sale stuff was an extra 30% off and full price 20% off.

She really likes crystals, I got her a mystery box from etsy then a book about them. If you get tumble stones you can buy cage necklaces to put different crystals in.

Her 10th birthday, fuse beads were a massive hit, she ended up running out so spent some birthday money buying more! They are like hama beads but cheaper I got them from amazon.

I also made her up a jewellery making set with beads, elastic and a bag to keep it in all from shein.

My eldest daughter really enjoyed drawing, she had a how to draw manga book with skin tone colouring pencils which got alot of use at that age.

Both like board games too. We mostly get these from charity shops though so have quite a random selection!

@Yalz thanks for pointing out the extended sizing at Anthro! I would never normally have to ought to look at their clothing.

I think I’ve solved the mystery of their Click and Collect not recognising there’s a branch in my town. It knows there is if I only have non-sale things in my basket, but gets confused if I then add a sale item. This is even though it said on the sale page that it was available for Click and Collect from my branch.

Love the headphones also but I checked with her mum and she’s already got headphones and a dot. She more of less dismissed any bedroom items and clothing 🙄 like a lot of the crafty type ideas and Claire’s that Badger listed so think I’ll go RL shopping and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the inspiration!
