Morning (just)!

I failed at eating yesterday which meant I got blotto far too early and wasn't well. Oops! 🙈

But we had a great time anyway and I avoided having to tidy up!

It was the type of course you have to look alert in, and answer questions Puss. My brain fog had descended by the last section and I was hungry. Never a good combination.

Hopefully you're feeling better, Puss. Ddog has had a gastro issue these last two days. I think he's coming out the other side now, thankfully.

fluffy poor ddog, glad he's on the mend. Boycat barfed up his tea and a furball while I was being sick, so DH ended up cleaning the hall carpet at 1am.

There must be something in the air Fluffy as my ddog has randomly been sick twice today.

why you have my sympathy for having to do a course. No matter what the subject, I always find my thoughts drifting and wanting a nap

Yesterday though she stood all hunched , hacking over my desk diary ( I was just thinking Whatever comes out , let it be from your mouth not your bum )

Meant to post yesterday and forgot. Too caught up in watching Happy Valley!

Ddog's guts are improving, thankfully. We've ordered some probiotics for him as he seems to be the sensitive type!

It's weird, once we're below 300 for the countdown, it seems to speed up!

fluffy I have to use FortiFlora for boycat. Not all the time, just when he's a bit barfy (spring brings hayfever and hairballs).

DH is absolutely full of cold with a nasty cough. His chest is rattling and he groans while he sleeps.
Hopefully Morrisons will have some lemsip in today. 🤞

Happy Valley is completely gripping. DH is on nights for the rest of the week and has been told he needs to complete Series 1 😀

I don't sleep brilliantly when he's on nights so I'm going to have a look and fond something to watch tonight.

Probably best not to watch Happy Valley on your own , especially when you see how well TLR breaks into cellars !

Luther or Whitechapel the same vibe

@TribeD I would recommend the West Wing every time. I'm just finishing my sixth or seventh watch through. The first few episodes of the first season aren't my favourites but pretty much every episode subsequently is brilliant.

Don't tell DH but I binge watched all 3 series of HV last week

I'm rewatching S1 because it was so good.

I'll have another go at Luther, was a bit of a wimp last time I tried, but I'm a bit tougher these days 💪

West Wing is also on my list, along with Greys Anatomy.

Do NOT watch Luther alone. Dear god, you'd have to be mad to do that to yourself especially the one where the bloke comes out from under the bed / is in the attic. I don't think HV is as nerve-shredding as that.

I've never watched Whitechapel.

The episode of Luther with the woman on the top deck of the nightbus in headphones.....and the man crawls along the floor of the bus to her . A woman on a passing bus sees it but is powerless to help

I didn't like Whitechapel particularly but I am looking forward to Luther (which I definitely won't be watching by myself).

Definitely agree- do not watch Luther if you’re home alone . I did while DH was away for a weekend and it turned out to be the episode with the guy under the bed <shudder>
I mentioned it on the phone to my mum and she got my dad to pop down for a coffee

I stuck with Grey’s Anatomy for a long time but abandoned it during Covid.
When you start it TribeD make sure you have tissues at the ready because you will spend a lot of time crying.

Completely different but I’m watching season three of Couples Therapy on iPlayer at the moment. It’s fascinating.

I still haven’t convinced DH to watch West Wing so may have to rewatch it by myself. I’ve only watched it once but I really enjoyed it, especially Allison Janney as C J.

Watching West Wing now, and have been pretty much all night/morning. DH is napping on the sofa. He's had a rough night with his cough so we got no sleep...well, the cats did. 😺🤦‍♀️

Lol! I promise I won't watch Luther while DH is on nights. I did watch S1 episode 1 today, but DH was asleep upstairs so that doesn't really count 😆

I've got an Amazon Show in my office. For some reason I can't focus if I'm playing music or listening to the radio, but background chatter is okay. It's especially good at Christmas because I play crappy Christmas films on it all day - they don't require any form of concentration.

Currently "watching" Gilmore Girls during the day although lorelai is beyond annoying

I managed to divert DH off watching "La Brea" ( storyline where people go through a sinkhole in the middle of a Los Angles street and end up two thousand years in the past with dinosaurs etc....)

Got him onto Luther , and yes the bloke under the bed episode came on. DD watched a bit then bailed out .

"Whitechapel" is dar superior as not only is there the lovely Steve Pemberton ( being a bit nerdy and unlikeable) but the equally lovely Shaun Evans as a builder who lives in the wals of houses <eek>
Rupert Penry-Jones (not nice) but you warm to him over a few episodes .

(DD and I keep quoting the message from his Father that the psychic wrote for him. )

I'm just back from walking the dog. He needs a fair old pound round the streets twice a day to make sure he doesn't eat the furniture!

It's a day of sorting and cleaning today. I've bundles of clothes from both kids to try to sell, plus DS' room needs some form of miracle to sort his out too.

Morning. I didn’t sleep well last night. Plans for this weekend (dh working both days) are washing, going out for dinner with work and ds needs a new pencil case for school. I also need to do some uni work. I’m doing a roast tomorrow too as the dc request, dd requested gammon and ds requested asparagus(!).

Don’t worry I was the same but got goodies put away in my goodie sack.
