@ThatshallotBaby DS chose a flying ball from the Salvation Army's Christmas appeal wish-list one year. He was quite young and not happy about having to give it away! I hope it's a hit.

I like to find things like giant candy canes that poke out of the top, I, err, sorry Santa, doesn't wrap it all 😉 I try and get things they love and the tree decoration started when they turned 21, so they have a small collection to start using on their own trees when they leave home. I try and find things that they like or have an interest in. It's quite tricky finding treats when there are dairy and chocolate allergies in the mix though.

Not quite that organised yet but DH gets a few consumables. DD and DS (14) will get deodorants, sweets, choc coins, beef jerky, bubble bath, school socks, popcorn, Doritos, maybe a packet cake or biscuit mix, post it notes, pretzels, can of some fizzy drink (maybe cider for DD this year, that would chuff her to bits, but DS would be horrified....), school biros, nail scissors, hair scrunchies etc etc. Always easier for girls! I keep the nice stuff for proper presents under the tree later on (though they may be from Santa, or the animals) so stocking presents are very cheap and cheerful....

It was so easy when they were tiny. Much harder now they are teens......

Ha ha - you are totally on our wavelength! It's about fun not cost. My Mum always made us the best stockings until she died when I was 28..... .

DD always asks for flying saucers and DS for candy bananas! FC has been delivering those since they were tiny! I will look out for your Japanese drinks, will be nice to have something different....

Seeing them on other people's lists reminds me that I was planning on giving everyone a chocolate lollipop. I bought them a couple of weeks ago, but then got DS's cold and ate them in a fit of self-pity No one will feel the lack.
