She is 15 and wears simple, classic styles, both silver and gold.

I will encourage her to exchange it if she doesn't like it but I'd like to at least have a go at getting it right!

Whereas the style is nice, my teen would be anxious about the diamond -is it ethical or not? I would definitely steer clear of stones like that.

It says ethically sourced diamonds underneath.

Not for dd. She's not good enough at taking care of her jewellery.

Thank you to everyone who has commented helpfully (positive or negative)- I've now bought a necklace (one of those kindly recommended) and I'm going to leave this thread now as it's become a bit odd. To anyone still cross about me buying my daughter a present, maybe go for a walk.

😂

My dd is 15 and loves jewellery but wouldn’t want that amount spent on one - she’d rather a b&m one and the money spent on clothes

tbom necklaces would be more my dds style

It's a nice enough necklace but massively overpriced, not a lot of workmanship, minimal amount of silver and mass produced.

Have a look at Scream Pretty
