Hi all, I’d like to buy my 70 year old stylish mother in law a really nice dressing gown. It needs to be thick but definitely not fleece or towel - not her style.

something like this but without the £120 price tag!! Has anyone seen it bought something similar?

thanks

Have a look at Their Nibs robes, very similar but cheaper. I’ve bought previously for presents. They come well packed.

Hi @wouldthatbeworse - hope you don't mind us jumping in but we've recently put together this page on the best women's dressing gown which might help you in your search. 💐

Do let us know if you have any feedback on the page, or if you've found something great you'd recommend to other Mumsnet users too.

The one in your link (100 Stars) is handwash , no machine wash or tumble dry which wuld put me off
The White Company one is velour with a cotton lining (machine washable ) looks nice .

Not glam but I bought Carole Hochman zip up zobes for myself (no suddenly coming undone and showing my wares ) And got my Mum one as no risk of tripping over a trailing belt .
