Budget gift for wealthy 21 year old

Can anyone think of a good gift under £25 for a 21 year old who has a lot of money so doesn't really "need" anything, doesn't read books, likes makeup (but probably specific brands) and fashion (ditto).... I'd like to get her something she'd like or that is unusual but I can't think of a single thing!

Is she your daughter? If so, would she appreciate a photobook of photos of you together throughout the years?

ExperimentalWarper · 30/11/2022 15:55

I buy for someone like this, I tend to get something from a nice brand like Neom. Look Fantastic always have lots of offers on nice bath/beauty products.

No my daughter is not wealthy 😂. That would have been a lovely idea though!

It's got to be something quirky then!
Do they have any pets or hobbies?
I'm thinking of getting a friend some bird shaped coat hooks.
My DD got her Dad a really sweet gift a couple of years ago - a song that reminds her of him, printed out as a poster.
Something foody? Artisan spice mixes, sauces. Decent bottle opener.
Socks printed with their pets faces on?
Cake forks, cheese knives.
Potted plant. Eco bundle - bamboo ear buds, metal straw, washable make up pads?
Bottle of gin or champagne?

Ok thank you I'll have a look...

Neom is a good idea! Lookfantastic also have small Jo Malone candles in stock for £25. I'd say something smelly like a fancy candle or reed diffuser would be a good idea

Yes I agree - and with most people I would be able to think of something. I just am out of my depth here though as no pets, no hobbies etc.

I know you said she doesn’t read, but a coffee table type book related to a fashion designer she likes?

Beamur · 30/11/2022 16:03

Illuminated mirror?
I think I would go for some nice quality toiletries that aren't make up as a safe option.
Room scenting like candles or diffusers are nice too.

Lay flat makeup bag? donnamaylondon.com

Toooldtocareanymore · 30/11/2022 16:10

i have a 22 year old and shed like something like this :
www.etsy.com/ie/listing/1327561223/chamomile-honey-gift-set-soaps-large?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=gifts+for+her&ref=sr_gallery-1-13&bes=1&organic_search_click=1

because its vegan and about bees, she's into natural stuff this year rather than big names, for her friends shed go for personalised fun gifts like www.etsy.com/ie/listing/968838340/personalised-name-definition-grey-satin?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=gifts+for+her&ref=sr_gallery-1-4&sts=1&organic_search_click=1

she likes nice candles and appreciates they can be expensive, is your recipient into anything like that? or sporty, my daughter would also like things like environmentally friendly water bottles.

Face mask or eye mask pack. Tula eye balm is awesome.

Naked Tea Company

Curzon cinema voucher

Something small and beautiful from an antique shop

Soap wrapped in beautiful paper

Tube of Le Labo hand cream (Hinoki is the best)

Singleandproud · 30/11/2022 17:15

Something quirky
Would she wear an ammonite necklace I got one from Etsy that DD loves.

Also from Etsy I bought a roman ring, its old, its imperfect but she loves it for its age and its always a talking point.

Riskofbeingsued · 30/11/2022 19:14

Thanks everyone. Some great ideas - and some I'll use for my own daughter!!

I’ve put a Dock and Bay quick dry hair turban on my wish list , £15 in John Lewis .

user1471533733 · 30/11/2022 19:41

I'd go for something personalised /monogrammed along the lines of this cosmetic bag- there's loads of different styles & colours on Etsy. or if she enjoys a lot of holidays& trips then a travel sized jewellery case

I'd go with some shower or bath oil

FlamingJingleBells · 30/11/2022 20:23

The Benefits Beauty wishlist box at Boots is a bit over your budget at £29.50 but worth over £80 of full sized Benefit cosmetics.

AnneButNotHathaway · 01/12/2022 11:24

Maybe a software subscription? There are also one-time buy deals in video editors or photo editing programs, if she's into that (ie likes creating content, takes lots of pictures etc), a useful program would be super welcomed.
Tech stuff like ring lights or portable chargers might be good options as well.
Makeup store gift card is an easy answer, too, so that she can pick something she'll like for sure.

NoelNoNoel · 01/12/2022 11:26

Chanel lipstick.

PurpleBirch · 01/12/2022 11:40

Does she own her own home? A gorgeous bauble for her Christmas tree maybe.

caffelattetogo · 01/12/2022 12:01

Personalised reusable coffee cup.

Marblessolveeverything · 01/12/2022 12:04

How about something retro from her childhood? I know family members who were gifted printed bags etc with their childhood favourite character.
