help me decide for dd and her friend

Our normal veggies aren’t in attendance this year, but if they were I’d head to Aldi. They have a great vegetarian Christmas selection. Lots of good canapés etc.

We’ll be having butternut squash and pecan nut roast, brie and cranberry filo parcels and vegan pigs in blankets with all the usual trimmings.

SIL is a vegetarian, MIL does her a nut roast and a separate "veg gravy" and she makes sure not to buy roasts that are in goose fat.

Everything else she has said as us (eg all the veg!)

I'm the vegetarian in my life. I'm having dinner with all the trimmings and no meat. So roasted potatoes, carrots and parsnips, green beans fried in garlic and butter, potato croquets, broccoli cheese, Yorkshire puddings. A centre piece would leave me less room for potatoes.
