🍝With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, I just wanted to share my Pasta Evangelists referral code in case anyone fancies a tasty and cheap date night.
The code gets you 35% off your first couple of deliveries and the prices are already reasonable (for food delivered to your door – obviously pasta isn’t an expensive dish anyway – I’m well aware of that!).
Dishes typically start at only £6 per main course (before discount) and I think you only have to order a minimum of two. You typically get a fresh pasta, a sauce and a garnish / cheese. The whole thing usually takes 3-4 mins to prepare.
In my experience, the nicest pastas and best ‘dine-in’ experience is with the filled pastas. The lobster, crab and prawn tortelloni is delicious, as is the seabass ravioli (both about £10 before discount) and the presentation is really nice with the garnishes they provide.
You need to sign up to a subscription to get the free delivery and best prices, but this is all easily managed on the website and you can pause or cancel at any time – I’ve been pausing and unpausing for the last two years with no issues.
If you share your referral code, you’ll soon find that you end up with free food. The beauty of this company is that you can use multiple referral credits on each order. For transparency, I get £10 credit for each referral and that more or less buys a dinner for two with the cheaper pastas.
My kids love it, the portions are big, but I do tend to save this for an easy date night when the kids are in bed. Nice bottle of wine and job’s a good ‘un.
Incidentally, if your kids are small / primary aged, you won’t need to order lots of portions. Even with my kids who are really big eaters, I’ve usually only orders 2/3 portions to feed all four of us.
There’s still scope for deliveries this week if anyone wants to get involved for an easy dinner later in the week.
thanks to anyone who uses this link.
