She already has loads of kitchen gadgets, hates cookery courses and has almost every cook book.

So I’m not sure what I can get her. Any suggestions welcomed.

Ottolengi has unusual spices she won’t already have. Beautifully presented, and good brand cachet among foodies.

Really good basic ingredients like olive oil, lemon juice, dried chillies, rice, flour etc.

Unless she's a mini Heston (I have a friend like this) not spices. I cook loads, have all the gadgets etc and hate it when I get bought spices - they often don't get fully used and go stale, unless it's something I already use a lot.

Agree with nice olive oil or balsamic (not any grinders or holders as she will have those - people keep gifting me (empty) oil and pepper sets and sadly I have to donate them as you only need one set), or sous chef website vouchers. Perhaps a foodie experience somewhere or a voucher for the nicest restaurant near where she lives ( it's nice to not always cook, but I'm fussy about where I eat!). Or a subscription to olive or good food magazine, as those are both excellent.

Really good balsamic vinegar. Truffle honey. A cook's blowtorch.

I love cooking and likewise I have good pats, knives, gadgets etc. Things I would genuinely appreciate -

Voucher for the butchers to buy a really nice fillet of beef.
Voucher for cheesemonger (£30) plus sourdough crackers, oatcakes, chilli jam etc.
Dried mushrooms
Vanilla pods or bean paste
Olive oil
Maraschino cherries
Perello chickpeas
Tahini paste
Black lemons
Vintage port
