Do you have a Christmas jigsaw puzzle?

One to get out (every year?) as something to do with the DC in the evenings? Looking for ideas as I'm totally uninspired by the ones I've seen.

I've got an alphabet one that I love

Every year! But not Christmas scenes, I usually have a Jan van Haasteren ( always has certain characters in, DC, both adults now still like 'helping' and DH only does the final piece). Ravensburg also do nice ranges.

This is our first year and DD chose this.

I think that is the new Disney Christmas one for this year, will be picking that up myself, can't wait 😁.

We get a new one each Xmas from a charity shop (and donate the previous year's). It is getting harder to find nice designs that we haven't done before though.

DD has chosen! She's at the age where she's starting to go off Disney and immediately said no, she also thinks she's figured out Santa this year and is offended by mention of him.... so we have Holiday Cats.

I love the idea of a Christmas jigsaw but unfortunately I don't have the table space to devote to one, any ideas of alternative solutions?

I have loads. I like the gailson 500 piece ones though as concentration/space/time can be iffy over xmas. I do the 1000 piece puzzles earlier in December.

Yes. It's a snowy street. It's the only jigsaw I ever do.

I did the alphabet one in lockdown which I enjoyed. That said, I will never do another jigsaw again

@Spirini neither do we. I have a fold up puzzle board that I stand in the corner of the room. Like this We either lay it on the table or on the floor then fold it up when we're not doing the puzzle. FIL has a roll, but I don't like them.

@AlwaysLatte I have a Lego set I want to build but haven't dared yet as I don't trust the DC not to take bits to their rooms 😂

I did a 1000 piece Christmas 2020 because it was lockdown, I was early pregnant and absolutely miserable, couldn't drink 😤 I ended up really enjoying it. It was Snow Angels from wh Smith!

Christmas 2021 I had a 4 months old baby who was like a little baby koala and never left my boob or my arms so didn't manage to do one.

This Christmas, I have treated myself to a 4 pack of 500 piece puzzles I found on vinted. Hoping it'll be a bit easier than one big 1000 piece!!

Thanks @SecondaryPreparation that's a neat way to store everything, I'm very tempted to get one for myself but I need to prioritise buying other people presents first! 😂

I love the Cloudberries Christmas jigsaw. Lovely image, it’s 3D and it comes with two pairs of 3D glasses so something a little different. I actually finished it after Christmas as I found it a little tricky! Really fab quality jigsaws.

DH bought me a puzzle for Christmas 2020. It was a fiendishly difficult puzzle of dog breeds and the pieces were irregular shapes. 500 pieces are my limit so we have a lovely Cornerstone one from The Works.

We are doing Day out at the Christmas Tree Farm , it’s 1000 pieces ( our norm ) and I got it in Waterstones .

We love a Christmas puzzle but sadly we are usually defeated. I think 1000 is too much for us and we will need to stick to 500.

Can you still get really beautiful 500 piece ones?
