Can anyone share the link to green & blacks plse. When I search it's bringing up a box for £8 in slightly different packaging

It's this one, which shows as £9.60. The extra £3.60 off is applied when you click through to the check out.

I'm after some nice bamboo socks for DS (shoe size adult size 6). Any suggestions for deals on men's or women's bamboo socks?

I concur that the BAM socks are lovely. If you want a little more bargainous, TKMaxx always have some instore and online. I just ordered some yesterday- Sock Shop ones and Glenmuir. I've had both before and are both really good.

Restlessinthenorth · 15/11/2022 19:38

I've just popped my smashed grapes referral code on the referrals thread if anyone wants to order a kit. £20 off your order. Currently available for order from late Nov throughout December.

I want to stock up on batteries - just normal AA and AAA - for toys, fairy lights, remotes etc.
I usually get them from Aldi/Lidl but have a feeling they're not the best value as they seem to run out v quickly.
Grateful if anyone has any bargainous/good value suggestions?

I find Primarks are good

LostMyLovelyLlama · 15/11/2022 19:41

@mummysandwich - we use the Amazon basics ones - 40 for £9 or so - they seem to last long Smile

Puffalicious · 15/11/2022 19:42

I'm just laughing at me not reading the full thread, not noticing the 5 other posters recommending TK Maxx bamboo socks 🤣

If you can stretch the budget I would try some rechargeable ones. It's so, so, so much cheaper in the long term and better environmentally.

IKEA are great and really good value if you have one near you.

Just a thought.

@Puffalicious , if TK Maxx don’t come up trumps, you might like to try Bath & Unwind for St Eval candles. Free delivery kicks in at £25 and I’ve put a £10 referral code in the referral thread- still not much use if you only want one candle, I’m afraid, as it has a £30 minimum.

I want at least 4! So I'll head over and check if they have the scent I need. Thanks loads!

Amazon basics (agree with PPs to get rechargeable but they also sell non/rechargeable) are generally on sale in Black Friday. We always stock up then

Can anyone recommend some sort of cheese selection? Like the smashed grapes thing really but for cheese? I don't need chutneys or boards, just a good selection of cheese, with double points if I can select a delivery date so the fridge isn't full until Christmas, thanks !

I usually do a day trip to France to get my cheese (and wine) but the ferry and tunnel are so expensive this year so I'm interested in the responses you get.

I try and get my cheese early December to make sure it has enough time to get really ripe and stinky!

DD has asked for shower steamers- anyone got any recommendations?

mummysandwich · 15/11/2022 19:50

Thanks for the battery recommendations!!
I would like to try rechargeable but hadn't thought of ikea. We live fairly far away but I need to order a new desk for wfh so could combine with that. And maybe some Amazon basics as a back up for when we inevitably forget to charge! Alas, not near a primark either 😢.

BeaLola · 15/11/2022 19:52

Hopefully this time posting on the correct thread ....

Anyone with a teenager know if Boss Bottled Night is an ok fragrance or willl I be hoping for a return to the god awful Lynx (right of passage tho) and apart from Very any bargainous ideas of where to buy ? Thank you

We use Amazon basics rechargeable and one of their chargers and they are great

There's a maker who sells them on the Facebook group Not On Amazon which people always seem to rave about...

@BeaLola

My 17 year old uses this, it's one of his favourites.

Look Fantastic have it on offer 200ml for £48. If you are a new customer you can get £10 off with refer a friend. I will add my link to the referral board if you need one 😀

Athlebad · 15/11/2022 20:07

@Dogmatix34 This is their etsy shop. Seems a lot cheaper than I remember them having advertised before, so this might be for a smaller quantity...

I've used your code Nevertooearly . Thankyou!

Was just saying on the referral thread that I don't get it when companies don't ensure that products are the best deal on their own site? Surely this means the small company is making the most money, as they offer other businesses a keener price as they need to make their cut.

I used to always order direct, best for the company, but not now when every £ counts.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 15/11/2022 20:14

Could someone who has received the Green & Blacks chocolates let me know what sort of date is on them please?

Sallylovesdaisy · 15/11/2022 20:19

Another one hoping I'm on the correct thread this time Blush. Does anyone know where I can buy a set of decent Flannelette sheets. I'm reluctant to get them from Amazon etc, as the reviews are mixed with a lot of complaints about the fluff they create, and the dye transferring. They're for my DMIL who has dementia and she wouldn't be able to cope with that. So I need to find good quality ones. Thank you

I was going to say the same thing @mummysandwich. Amazon basics / Robert dyas / whatever and it saves so much money.

FunWithFlags81 · 15/11/2022 20:23

@PissedOffNeighbour22 my green and blacks are july23 - from Tescos clubcard prices (£6) rather than amazon
