Does anyone have the Play-Doh Ice Cream Truck? DS saw an advert for it and absolutely loves the look of it but I need to know if it's worth the money. He'll be 6 in January. I'm tempted because the only other thing he asks for is Lego and we really don't need any more of that! I'm thinking if I apply for a Very Credit account and apply the 20% to the already reduced £80 that'll take some of the sting out of it if it doesn't get played with....

That's sad about Joules. I did order a long line rain jacket at the weekend, hope it comes but more worried about the staff waking up to this.

My bargain to share. I have early access as an email subscriber to Grenade who make really great protein bars and energy drinks with BCAAs. Good gift for the weight lifter or CrossFitter in your life. Without early access bars are £24 for box of 12 (so cheaper than my gym or M&S sell them individually). I got them for £18 so might be worth signing up quick or holding out til sale goes live.

I easily spent £50 which gets me free delivery and their free gift of a 'protein spread' the hazlenut flavour is like Nutella but added protein.

A bit niche but might help someone.

There are usually a few sets reduced on Amazon for Black Friday, some sell out really fast, I have got a few bargains in previous years, smyths and Argos may reduce some too. Tesco have a few sets reduced at the moment but I’m not sure about the princess ones, they did have a good Batman set reduced from around £65 to £30 which I though was a great bargain (sadly my dd doesn’t like Batman).

The Lego store is normally a bit more expensive for sets than Amazon, Smyths or Jadlam toys. I’d have a look at which set you want then check around using the Lego code (5 digits on the box).

However, I’ve heard the Lego store will be doing a give away promotion in the run up to Christmas. This will be a free small set if you spend over a certain amount (normally £100 ish). I think it’s going to be a Christmas elves set from rumours online. So if anyone is going to be buying a few sets or something big, it might be worth checking for that offer.

Sad about Joules, glad I didn't order anything while browsing last night.

A slightly different one but we got Who Dunnit £7 on Amazon. Looks really good it's a cross between Guess Who and Cluedo. It's for a friend's daughter then my daughter saw it and said it looked amazing so we got a 2nd one.
