We got one last year, the kids enjoy playing with it when they do get it out but it's only out occasionally.

thanks for that. Yes was thinking of one for my soon to 12 year old dd. I’ve massively cut back on filler presents this year and thought that would be a nice little extra. It is the kids box yes?

@snowmanshoes oh actually I didn't know they did kids one's lol she always just chooses one of the normal ones. We have had kids mystery boxes before but I think from zavvi and they didn't enjoy as was too young - minions, Minnie Mouse etc.

@snowmanshoes my dd enjoys them even if she gets a box with things she doesn't know/watch like doctor who or star trek so as long as u think ur dd wouldn't be too disappointed if it wasn't things she likes I think it's worth it for a tenner.

Much cheaper to buy and free to use unlike ringo that requires a subscription

you can talk to people through your phone, and have unlimited number of users.
only downside is when we are all at home and someone rings the doorbell, the amount of chiming we get - the doorbell, recording box and every phone goes off!

I've had 3 kits from there now since last year for my dc and I'd be hard pushed to tell the difference to the official kit he had when he was younger. Really good value, take around 3 weeks to come but I think closer to Christmas they take longer especially with the World Cup this year.
