Gifts from other half that you've hated

Well, maybe 'hated' is a bit strong.

Inspired by the thread about presents that your other half rejected. (Thanks for the inspiration)

My DP got me the same necklace that he had gifted to his mum for her birthday. Think my face said it all.

My DH (when he was DP) handed me an Asda bag for life carrier bag on Christmas Day our 2nd Christmas together- I was also 4days before my due date with DD so already uncomfortable and emotional... in the Asda bag was the clothes I had bought for myself with my own money a few days before to wear for dinner in DPILs that day... I was entirely unimpressed and cried ALOT... the worst thing for me is I'd gotten him an Xbox and sorted the gifts for everyone else and he didn't even fucking bother to wrap the bloody things!

He has never done that again...

Not so much that I hated the gift, we had only been together about 6 months when we had our first Xmas together. He got me a necklace out the Avon magazine, it was pretty but it left me a little fuming. I can’t wear cheap metal or silver as I break out in a rash within 10mins of wearing, which we had already discussed a few times before lol now we have a spend limit and I just tell him and send him the link to what I’d like.
