What are you getting your mid teen girls for Christmas?

Bit stuck about what to get my DD for Christmas and she’s only asked for a few items of clothing and make up. She doesn’t need anything electrical and not really into shows etc. 🤷‍♀️

DD is 15. She is getting embroidery threads, embroidery hoops, fabric and a plain hoodie and too to embroider on. Also so crochet hooks.

Is that plain hoodie and top?

Fab ideas! Have you got any pattern ideas for her or will she just come up with her own designs?

Super cute briefcase record players are half price on eBay at the moment. They also are Bluetooth compatible etc.

Also on eBay there's a massive discount on professional gel nail sets with the UV lamp and nail tips, files, gel polish etc. I got a set recently and I can now do my own manicures at home - saves a trip to the nail salon each month! Love it!

Really? It seems completely unsuitable for teenagers. Gin? Coffee subscription?

Yes, plain top. I have bought her a book of embroidery stitches, but she just likes to be creative!

My daughter will be having a newish iPad with pen ( she is art mad and wants Procreate - also needs it for coursework etc so useful) along with screen protectors and cover.
Then filling stocking with beauty accessories, small Himalayan rock lamp (b&m) and chocolate treats. Probably throw in a gift card for New look too!

new iPhone, clothes (mostly hollister), Pandora jewellery, lush stuff, Victoria’s Secret pyjamas and sprays and a ridiculous portrait of our cat dressed as a Victorian queen 😂

I hit the urban outfitters sale hard as teen heaven. I also got some make up brushes and one of those natural hair curl things.

Mine is getting a secondhand comic book from the 1980s.

What books are you getting your teens? I have a 15 DD and she’s requested The butterfly garden but not sure v suitable?

15yr old dd's Christmas list comprises 167 books. Classics, poetry, obscure literature, feminism, cult classics, modern experimental literature and everything in-between. It's an eclectic mix.

I've bought 10 of them so far and will likely get several more. She doesn't want anything else.

DD17 is in serious study mode and Id like to get her a Macbook but can't afford one.

DD 16 getting an oodie and a weighted blanket (oh boy is it weighted, it weighs a ton). Bedding, a few bits of jewellery. Struggling TBH. Their idea of heaven is going to a charity shop to find things to upcycle.

DD17 is getting new nike trainers, ariana grande perfumes (she collects them), expensive skincare stuff, lush snow fairy collection bits and bobs,

Oops posted too soon, also a fake tanning kit and some MAC make up. Stocking fillers will mostly be bubble bath, chocolate, lip balms etc.

DD is 13, have got her some makeup, perfume, light up mirror, denim dungarees, a hoodie and hoping the shop which has been closed every day this week is open today to get her a vintage cat toy she saw and wanted. We've also bought a meta quest 2 for us all - but mostly for her.

I have had a good look and the kit I bought is now gone/sold out! However just type "nail kit with lamp" in search and there are so many! Quite a few at half price right now.

I bought extra tips about 500 for £4.99 with free postage. Great for beginners or just doing at home.

I also do acrylic extensions on myself (lots of practice needed) but you can get poly gel which is easier or just stick on nails - there's so many options :)
