Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

A bit of competition for the thread title this time - thanks for all the contenders and nominees and @Someaddedsugar for the title. This says a lot about your phones autocorrect I think Grin 🤣

@Folliat we also have that pencil/stylus and can also recommend it - it's good as it's magnetic as well. @AlabamaWorley22 YABU though as I am actually Alabama Worley Grin DH and I have Clarence and Alabama wedding rings Smile

@RainbowZebraWarrior
These were on offer a few weeks ago- £3.95 i think. It said they would be delivered by 12th December but mine cane today. They are very tiny, but very cute. Will add them to a small box of chocolates and they’ll be a great TA gift

Regarding Disney, what are pyjamas like size wise? Are they true to size or small?

My son has some. I’d say true to size but he is really slim. Height wise perfect on him.

If you are planning to get a L'Occitane advent beauty calendar, order online with a code PAMPER to get a free gift of a bag with 6 mini Limited editions (worth £26) including Verbena shower gel, shampoo, milk concentrate, shea golden latte hand cream, green chestnut soap and radiance scrub.
You need to spend £55 for the free gift. The delivery is free. Says the gift is available instore or online, but you might need to ask for the gift if shopping instore. When I was in their shop in Oxford last week, there was no mention of any free gift with the purchase of the advent calendar. Offer valid until 14 November.

If you spend £40 and more at L'Occitane online, you can get an edge of ember elegant gold chain bracelet worth £38, using code SPARKLE (offer valid 21 November - 25 December).

Also if anyone has a promotional/referral code for Aquila subscription, I'd be most grateful. Would love to get it for my DS.

Thank you for the heads up on the Buyagift code , just got a couple of very cheap afternoon tea vouchers for Christmas presents . Code can be used more than one , I just checked out as a guest each time .

Me too

Got the Pierre White afternoon tea for two for £12 (says it wouldn't accept a code) by adding another item, putting the code in, deleting the extra item and then getting the code applied anyway!

Down in total from £50 to £12

Buy a gift doesnt work on most items as mo extra discount allowed tried thr add an extra experience and then delete it but that didnt work either it re,oved the discount

BloodyMabel · 24/10/2022 16:01

I can’t get the buy a gift to work either. It just takes the discount back off, any tips? Are you going through to payment or something first?

KeepingKeepingOn · 24/10/2022 16:04

@Puffalicious i haven’t been back to this thread in a few days (organising a birthday party and going on a mini break!) but yes, the ones I got were def heated - but now I’ve tried the link again, it just goes to an ordinary one 🤨I’m guessing Aldi must have switched the links or products?! Am really sorry if you got the wrong one because of me!! I did see Lidl had some in store the other day, but a bit more expensive.

PumpkinSpicedTea · 24/10/2022 16:14

Pokemon Lego

I'd appreciate if anyone can keep eyes out on any deals. Doesn't need to be a big one as it's for hubby from kids 😂

You need to add an item first that does take the discount off , then add the Marco Pierre afternoon tea , then remove the first item . It won’t work for goods though , so for instance I tried it on the joe and Steph popcorn and that doesn’t work .

Thanks for getting back! It's just this minute arrived- very soft, very fluffy but definitely not heated! I live literally a minute walk from Aldi, so no worries. It's very, very strange indeed.

Thanks for the tips on Lidl. I'll drive to one this week and see what they have. Thanks.

Rebelmcstreettuff · 24/10/2022 17:45

Just bought buy a gift afternoon tea voucher for £34 instead of £49 well chuffed, now do I buy another and treat myself? 🤭

TheGriffle · 24/10/2022 17:51

Could anyone recommend a portable music player that can use Spotify please? Thinking this will be a good ‘big’ present for dd whose 9. I’m not ready for her to have a phone to put it on so this is the next best thing! Budget up to £100 ish but cheaper is always better!

OxfordDog · 24/10/2022 18:08

I can't get the Buy A Gift voucher to work either, even when I add something else, apply the discount and then remove it. Trying to get the £20 Go Ape Nets Adventure tickets. I got them last year with the £15 off discount too, so it's annoying that it won't work this year!
