Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

A bit of competition for the thread title this time - thanks for all the contenders and nominees and @Someaddedsugar for the title. This says a lot about your phones autocorrect I think Grin 🤣

I have never used them before- are they any good?

They get good reviews on trustpilot and are one of the more better known photo sites. I use them a lot as you get free prints every month on the app. Their software tells you if a photo isn't good enough quality to use so if you follow their guides there should be no quality concerns

Cuwins · 18/10/2022 12:57

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads
I have been using a different app that does a photobook each month with just postage but this is cheaper

torthecatlady · 18/10/2022 13:02

I'm looking for some men's fluffy socks (size 9-12) for DH, if anyone comes across any please 🙂

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 18/10/2022 13:19

Hey bargain hunters, does anyone know if there’s an app/website that lists grocery bargains? I’m hoping to catch a buy 6 get 20% off wine but I’m not sure if there’s a better way than checking all the supermarkets every week

Blixem · 18/10/2022 13:22

Thank you @noodledoodler for your post on the previous thread about the Look Fantastic Beauty Box. I got the beauty box for £12, the extra box with the code FREEBOX and its tracked on topcashback as £20 cashback!

AlternativelyWired · 18/10/2022 13:23

@torthecatlady fatface have some good men's ones... not particularly barginous unless you can find a promo code www.fatface.com/men/clothing/underwear-socks/stripe-idaho-socks/976809.html?dwvar_976809_color=multi#q=mens+fluffy+socks&lang=en_GB&start=3

torthecatlady · 18/10/2022 13:26

@rosieredhead thanks, I don't have any codes but I'm sure they normally do a 25% off new season around this time of year... so I will keep those in mind!

If you register with hutukdeals you can sign up for notifications if a product is posted about. I just put wine then any wine deals I get a notification

Arewesureitisntbedtime · 18/10/2022 13:29

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin I'm not sure of any apps/websites but Sainsbury have 25% off 6 bottles starting on 20th October. It says selected bottles so depends what you are looking for but it is on the website now for orders booked from 20th so you can probably check.

chocolateisavegetable · 18/10/2022 13:34

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin Tesco have 25% off 6 bottles of wine if you have a Clubcard - until end of October

sycamorescrumptious · 18/10/2022 13:40

@AlternativelyWired is there a code for the cherry tree please? I can't figure it out! TIA

hiredandsqueak · 18/10/2022 13:43

I've just bought the Velvetiser for my adult ds. He's notoriously difficult to buy for but loved the hot chocolate dd made him when he was babysitting for her last weekend. I bought her the Velvetiser last year😂

Christmasmcchristmasface · 18/10/2022 13:53

Asda are also doing 25% off 6 bottles at the minute

if you search sainsburys new customer codes there’s usually something like £8’off a £60 shop which you can also use

AlternativelyWired · 18/10/2022 14:15

@sycamorescrumptious their website isn't very nice to use but I think the discount is automatically applied.

Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton · 18/10/2022 14:21

Is it easy to cancel the LF subscription?

equalstime · 18/10/2022 14:25

Reminder Dunelm do some lovely well reviewed Oodies

ThreeRingCircus · 18/10/2022 14:39

My local TK Maxx had lots of toys in the clearance section today including Hot Wheels, Batman and Playmobil. It may be worth checking out your local store if you're passing.

UrbanMage · 18/10/2022 14:43

Just been to Lidl and they had some of their Christmas food range in store (and my local one is an old grotty one so I'm assuming nicer and newer stores will be the same).

I did not* pick up three marzipans, stollen, gluwein and their spiced biscuits.

*I did. As well as five Ritter sport because I went shopping hungry and am a greedy cow. Moo.

Crimsonbow · 18/10/2022 14:43

Thank you to whoever on the old thread mentioned stickers from The Laughing Sloth - hopefully they'll make wrapping much quicker! I've ordered one with a blank space then "love all of our names" and just names for DC who can't read anything other than their names anyway! Had different wrapping papers for each child last year but think I'll run out of their individual designs this year so will sticker them too. Loads of stickers for £9 delivered - code is WELCOME20 if anyone else wants to get some.

FilthyforFirth · 18/10/2022 14:56

I've just restocked up on Christmas label stickers from Tinyme. They are £10 down to £2 currently. I have used them for years and really rate them.

Only annoying thing is delivery is £3 so more than 1 pack of stickers! I may have got 5 to make it worth my while...

@NoWordForFluffy you can alter that in your settings. I have, because I type fuck infinitely more often than duck.

😂😁

17caterpillars1mouse · 18/10/2022 15:37

Not a bargain but incase anybody else is shopping at John Lewis (then have a few deals on selected toy and children's clothes) and is trying to get up to £50 for free delivery, I thought this Santa Claus jigsaw for children looked lovely. I've ordered it for dd4 whilst I was ordering dn gifts
