I worked in a record shop in the 90s, and loved all the Christmas compilation albums that came out- most with the same stuff.
The least festive ever (though it was released in December '90 and has a 'seasonal' title') was the inclusion of Snap!- 'Mary had a little boy' on the The Best Christmas Album ever...was especially dubious. (it's definitely not about Jesus)
