Ho ho ho and welcome to the bargain Christmas thread - home of the discounts for Christmas shopping.

Title is inspired by the turtle doves/gloves and in my head it's set to the 12 days of Christmas. I'm actually tempted for us to think up a new 12 days of Christmas nearer the time with all of our best bargains Grin

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Thanks @dawnky1983

Elpheba · 08/10/2022 20:39

@OhFFS! I’m very tempted to get one for myself- but it says hand wash recommended. Obviously that won’t be happening- how do you wash yours? Do you think 30/40 degree wash and hang to air dry would keep it soft etc?

For bakedin you can get the first 3 boxes for £3.99 with their tik tok offer using code TIKTOK3.

I won a box and it was pretty good so tempted for £3.99

WhereIsThisGoing · 08/10/2022 21:46

@TheHappiestChristmasTree Sorry the picture didn't attach. I just been to check to get a link and they are out for stock. Keep an eye on it though as they generally do it for that price...

It's set 10874

Thank you, I will keep checking, it's been on my list for a while!

HollyJollyXmas57 · 08/10/2022 22:26

My papergang box came today and like most others I’m a bit disappointed in it. It’s nothing special and wouldn’t Inspire me to keep up the subscription.

All contents is a bit plain (front of box is pretty though) and they stuck the postage label over the back which I couldn’t peel off easily.

Il use it as a stocking for my daughter but I wouldn’t pay more then postage for it.

The Chelsea Barbie camper van set is on Aldi for £23.99 today.
Next cheapest is Amazon at £29.99

I love these threads. It's helped me out lots with bargains . Thank you all xx

friskybivalves · 08/10/2022 23:14

I can't remember who wanted tartan wrapping paper but my M&S simply food has some red-based tartan wrap with their Xmas stuff. I think it was £2.95 a roll.

Turtleoo · 09/10/2022 06:59

Adventure city track for any Paw Patrol fans, good price in Smyths
(Cheaper than Amazon)

PlainJaneSuperBrain99 · 09/10/2022 07:34

Does anyone know of any decathlon discounts?

Haudyourwheesht · 09/10/2022 08:12

A lot of the wooden toys are online in Aldi today. I'd love the supermarket but there's just no space. The wooden nativity set is lovely too. We got it a few years ago to keep the DC away from the real crib. Didn't work.

MsMiaWallace · 09/10/2022 08:15

Not sure if mentioned already Asda have a Ford Mustang Lego technic set £30.
Cheapest I've seen any where.
It's £35 on sale at Smyths.

Ridingladybugs · 09/10/2022 08:25

If anyone else’s DC have asked for the ridiculously overpriced air up bottles - if you sign up you get a birthday discount of 15% ( think also there is a 20% referral discount so worth checking the referrals thread incase I’d guess!)

PlainJaneSuperBrain99 · 09/10/2022 08:37

@Ridingladybugs thank you! Ds2 asked for one and I had no idea how pricey they are.

Chocolateteabag · 09/10/2022 08:43

@PlainJaneSuperBrain99 I bought the Air-Ups for my DC last Christmas and yes they are £££ but they have used them
The pods are also £££ - but then it does get them off juice/pop and just used to drinking water

Ridingladybugs · 09/10/2022 08:50

@Chocolateteabag - I’m glad to hear that! It’s my youngest most wanted present so I figure it will make him happy!

Crackery · 09/10/2022 09:18

Do you have the sparks app? If not you get a code when you sign up

BluePeppermint · 09/10/2022 09:45

@LindseyHoyleSpeaks Just in case you still need it, theres a couple on the referrals thread now (mine included) :)

christmaspudding43 · 09/10/2022 09:51

Yes, I want to nail the shopping too but black friday is at the back of my mind. Although then there's delivery times to worry about... I need an oodie for example but if I wait until black friday for a better deal will it come in time? Decisions...

Ladymama12 · 09/10/2022 10:11

Not sure if i can put this here, but has anyone els noticed m&s don't seem to have a wrapping paper section on the xmas website. I noticed @friskybivalves u saw some in the simply food store.. Have u or anyone else managed to find their wrapping things including paper online?

Snowflakes2 · 09/10/2022 10:41

Any recommendations for a tablet please? That will play Netflix, disney etc and be able to download games?
Cheap as possible as she has already broke 2. She is 8.

We bought both our kids an Amazon one on black Friday. We got the 8 for about £40 each but they also had covers with them, the chunky rubbery ones. My youngest has dropped it several times, very clumsy, and it's fine
