I’m not very impressed with PoundToy. Placed a large order on the 5th September and it’s still not been dispatched yet. Emailed them twice to chase and just got a generic email blaming a warehouse update with Evri and they should be dispatched soon but the last one was last week and still no dispatch email.

They did give me a discount code of Delay20 for 20% off my next order if anyone wants to see if it will work for them, but I want to order I’ve bloody paid for!

Me too but I haven't even had a reply to my emails. I had a generic one saying it should have been posted by the end of last week.

Awh poor wee pet. She’s through it now and safe and I remember a dr saying to me about my child - at least he’ll never have that again! It’ll be wonderful for you to see each other, must’ve been incredibly hard not to be with her.

Having nightmare with Dunelm. Got a code here, very kindly and ordered large order, heavy furniture type items and expensive order. Told to be delivered Friday so I’d arranged to get home and to have help to move things inside. Couldn’t wait to see it. Didn’t arrive. Courier cancelled it seems. Did live chat to Dunelm late Friday. They said they’d find out what’s going on. Agreed it wasn’t good enough. Would email me after making enquiries but never heard back. Nothing today either. It’s not a wee box that can just be delivered, I’d need to be at home 🤯

What would you do? Thinking of going on live chat again but 🤷‍♀️

@Serenitesanta I had a similar experience with dunelm earlier in year. General customer service was rubbish so ended up DM'ing them on Twitter. Got sorted immediately so would recommend going via there.

@Serenitesanta I've had the same with Dunelm. I ordered 2 lamps that both had separate boxes for the stand and shade and they just couldn't count that 2 lamps X 2 boxes = 4 boxes. Over the course of a week I ended up with 1 stand and 4 shades. Customer service was awful so I agree tweet them, it usually puts the wind up and gets them into action.

That’s terrible.

The live chat is refusing to escalate it to a manager because she says they have no more authority than she does 🤷‍♀️ I’ve been on for an hour. It’s very frustrating and time consuming.

I don’t know how to tweet (or actually what DM’s are 🫣) really need to get up to speed with that sort of thing. I just want to speak to someone who’ll sort it out 🤯

Picked this up in Aldi (as well as a strawberry squishy) for Dd. Not for Christmas but it was a bargain for £3.

@TheGriffle I ordered from somewhere different but it was ordered on the 9th. Dispatched on 13th and still hadn't moved on Evri tracking by 20th. I needed it for today. On Friday they told me it was lost and the seller auto issued a refund and yesterday the tracking moved on! It turned up this afternoon! I used the chat on evri to chase it and it took them 2 days and they told me it was missing.

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz I succumbed to the slipper offer recently. They’re ok size wise (I’m a 7 and they fit well) and are warm but the soles are so thick!! Great, I guess if you have cold, tiled flooring but they’re hard to walk in as there’s no give in them. You kind of have to stomp in them!
I’m not sure I’d buy them again.

I’ve sent 4 parcels today both (evri&inpost ) and all the tracking says the carriers are experiencing a shipping delay?so maybe a national thing.
