It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

If you have a referral link for a website, do post it on this thread

See post 2 for some (hopefully) useful links.

Couldn't work out how to get the Fussy discount work so that it only cost £5 🤔

Anyone else like me still waiting for Thrift order? Placed order on 30th and not had goods or despatch email.
I emailed yesterday but got an automated reply that said it can take up to three days to reply.

I got my first one a week ago but still waiting for the second one

Georgieporgie29 · 14/09/2022 11:48

Oh ok well that’s fair enough. Fingers crossed mine is ok or easy to return. Thank you

Georgieporgie29 · 14/09/2022 11:50

Sorry @Sisisimone dont know why that didn’t reply directly to you

TwinkleChristmas · 14/09/2022 11:54

Finally had a dispatched email from thrift last night.

I can’t even remember what I ordered now 😂

Fuckingfuckssake · 14/09/2022 12:01

@FetlocksBlowingInTheWind did you use a referral link? I've got One on the referral thread? When I used one it gave me a free case so just £5 for the refill with free postage, as I said you have to subscribe though.

Yes I had a go yesterday using your link, does it not charge £13 though?

Re Denman brushes: you have to brush the hair in sections and really hold the section tight so the scalp isn’t pulled. My hairdresser doesn’t, and yes it hurts. So that’s what I do at home and my DD has never complained. Using the wet brush was quicker but it only did the surface of our thick hair so was ok for a quick brush but not long term.

Does anyone have a discount code for the Disney store? I missed out on the ones that had been posted previously.

FluffyFluffMonster · 14/09/2022 13:41

I've got a bluelight Disney code for 10% if any good. Not the best though

mac1974 · 14/09/2022 13:48

How long does delivery normally take from poundtoy? I placed an order over 10 days ago and not received anything or a notification email

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 14/09/2022 14:08

Ok Beauty Box worth £130 for£7.50 plus serum worth £49.99

You need to initially sign up to a subscription but I cancelled as soon as I'd had payment confirmation. Was dead easy to do and didn't take long

NoDairyNoProblem · 14/09/2022 14:14

TK Maxx near me today - tangle teezers £9.99, wet brushes (plain and Disney) £4.99 and flexi brushes £3.99

Ehunt1 · 14/09/2022 14:34

@FluffyFluffMonster that would be fantastic. Thank you very much.

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 14/09/2022 15:47

@mac1974 did you receive an order confirmation email from poundtoy? My order took about 8/9 days to arrive but I did get an immediate order confirmation email and then on about day 4 I got an email saying things were delayed due to being very busy. I then got a dispatch email but no updates and found it on my doorstep the next day :)

ThisUserNameIsAvailableOk · 14/09/2022 15:48

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz thanks for that. I've ordered for £5 after a pop up offer code!

£130 worth plus the £50 serum all for a fiver delivered. Happy with that!

Fuckingfuckssake · 14/09/2022 15:53

@FetlocksBlowingInTheWind umm, my friend referred me, I followed the link, entered my email and they sent me a code to enter in at checkout, that brought it down to a fiver.

That's pretty good especially when you work out actual cost per item Grin
The free serum sounds lovely.
DONT FORGET TO CANCEL!

Any idea what the pop up code was? I’m not getting one.

Amazon have wax lyrical candles for £6.88 - 66% cheaper than usual. It’s only their ski lodge one and I can’t do a clicky link but have attached photo. It would make a nice gift!

mac1974 · 14/09/2022 17:07

@chocolatepudandchocolatesauce I've emailed them. They said they've had a system problem but my order should be sent any day. They've given me a 20% discount code too.

Shufflebumnessie · 14/09/2022 17:08

Just seen these Minecraft snack boxes (pack of 2) reduced to £2 on Amazon. Stocking filler perhaps?
Mine Craft Creeper and TNT 2-Piece Snack Box amzn.eu/d/6akPYAl
I think I paid £4 for them in Asda a couple of years ago.

Shufflebumnessie · 14/09/2022 17:21

Also, my local Boots has a clearance section with a few Christmas bits in. Found packs of photo insert Christmas card frames (hope that makes sense). Were £5 for 5, down to £2 but actually £1 at the till. Good quality white card frames with a gold design. DD is going to draw Christmas pictures and put them in for teachers/grandparents etc.
