It's early September and we're already on thread 3 - wonder how many threads we'll get to this year! Any bets? Mine is 29!

Cute dinosaur slippers on the Joules outlet shop on ebay for only £4.95

here

Mads96 · 11/09/2022 15:03

@Someaddedsugar Could you buy a cute name label from Etsy, a vinyl one and then buy a cheap mug and personalise it then fill it with sweets or coffee, hot chocolate etc.
cheap but cute and personal 😊

A few years ago I got her a second hand book, some chocolate, bath stuff and a homemade babysitting voucher and last year I got her some hot diamonds earrings from this thread. She doesn't often spend money on herself and instead spends it on her husband or her children. She did say she wanted a cross body bag a while ago but doubtful I'd get anything for a tenner unless the Fossil outlet goes a bit crazy!

nice second hand Oliver Bonas cross body bag at Thrift + for £4.95

sorryiasked · 11/09/2022 16:17

@Someaddedsugar what sort do you want? There's this one

Someaddedsugar · 11/09/2022 16:19

You guys are all so good at this! I think she'd like the shape of that one @sorryiasked but something a bit dressier (hence probably impossible for a tenner 😂).

Really like the mug idea too!

The Oliver Bonas one is lovely but probably the wrong shape but thank you.

I can also recommend the Joules slippers a PP has shared - I bought them for DS and they're lovely.

Can anyone think of a bargain I can get for DSIL who I have drawn (again) in the secret Santa? I'd really like to get her something she wouldn't buy herself but our budget is limited to £10 (p&p can be extra). She means a lot to me and I would like to get her something lovely.

Could someone let me know when the initial stockings hit b&m or matalan please.... And would anyone be willing to grab me an A, H and F?

Bastards don't deliver to me. And I really want some to match the santa sacks I managed to get last year. I'll happily pay postage etc!!

@Sideorderofchips the B&M ones are out I think but someone said they have changed so don't match last years now

Ea134 · 11/09/2022 16:30

ASOS also have a sale on with extra 50% off items. Got an adidas tracksuit for £39 down from £120!

Ruralretreating · 11/09/2022 17:00

Hi @Someaddedsugar Debenhams have these, at close to budget. Black one is small shoulder bag rather than cross body. They do have some others for under £10 but didn’t seem quite as nice. P&P is £4 though, or £9 for one year’s next day with Debenhams unlimited
