My dd has asked for an oodie. Can anyone recommend a cheaper version please?

We can see this thread is a slightly old, but if you’ve landed here looking for current Oodie alternatives for kids, including more budget-friendly options, we’ve recently updated our best kids' blanket hoodie page with lots of great options, as rated and loved by Mumsnet parents. We hope it helps Flowers

I think the real ones are BOGOF at the moment, so might be worth looking into teaming up with someone?

OhCobblers · 03/09/2022 08:44

Costco used to do them and I saw some cute ones in Typo last week

Have a look here- I've bought 4 from them. They regularly sell out then put them back on a day or so later. Some people have got really Oodies from them.

If not Primark have them for £18

abovedecknotbelow · 03/09/2022 08:48

Primark.

Thanks!

Does anyone know if Primark have theirs in store yet?

Primark do them and they aren’t ridiculously long.

I have a pink one from last year and my god it has washed and washed.

Look at Oodie or Kuddly. The quality is much better than Primark. You are paying £18-£20 in Primark. You can get an Oodie or Kuddly for £25 with codes.

I am not saying the Primark ones are rubbish. We have a couple but the quality of Oodie and Kuddly are far superior and much, much warmer.

Yes, £20. Given the rate they were being bought at I wouldn't leave it to long.

Amazon do good quality ones for about £20. I bought a couple each for my teens and they wear them all the time. They also wash really well

My son has a Snuggy which was around £25. Very pleased with the quality, they are mostly plain, though they have started to do a few patterns.
