Am I allowed to unwrap ds's present from neighbour (which I strongly suspect is MONSTER tube of smarties), bung in something lentilly, and rewrap tonight when he is in bed?

Don't believe justabout's protestations of respectability either ...

This morning, ds1 was in our bedroom when he leant down onto the floor and came up with, um, well what he called "mummy's purple toy".

It was on my side of the bed (I was downstairs at the time making a justabout cup of tea), but somehow he picked who it belonged to.

I wonder if it was the shape ...

PFG.

Bocohohoho · 24/12/2007 18:12

See! Proof that it is not my flat to blame for the smut, but that Justabouttherudestladyonmumsnet.

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:13

Bocohohoho · 24/12/2007 18:14

I know. I feel degraded Franny. Just like I did when we were behind that sofa trying to heckle them into...um, stopping.

Bocohohoho · 24/12/2007 18:15

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:15

have fun

try not to use QUIM even though it is a good scorer, esp on a triple

PontipineFinderGeneral · 24/12/2007 18:17

JUMP scores quite highly too.

ShakeysGirl · 24/12/2007 18:25

Thanks Franny

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 18:27

Shakey this site gives loads of information. If you weren't previously aware of Nestle's tactics it will shock you

Just put DS1 (2.11) down to sleep. All fine with leaving the stocking out of reach, small alcoholic drink (about 1/8 shot in case he get thirsty) but ructions about the carrot.

Apparently, the carrot is not for the reindeer, it is for DS1. Said as he ate the first half of it. I'm taking up another carrot now, and making sure it's outside his door.

I'd have had a tougher time if it'd been a Christmas present full of raw carrots ...

ADDICTEDtosayingHAAAAAAAPYxmas · 24/12/2007 19:19

could you put the smarties in different packaging and re wrap so he still gets them but won't recognise the pacakaging at a late date?

lovecattlearelowing · 24/12/2007 19:38

The lovely old dear across the road has just dropped off the most MAHOOSIVE tube of jelly tots known to man for DD - can I swap them for your smarties, Franny?

Or have they already been used up in sex-games round at Boco's?

reikizen · 24/12/2007 19:38

You are kidding...

lou33 · 24/12/2007 19:39

i love jelly tots

Bauble99 · 24/12/2007 19:45

Franny. I had a pile of Haribo, too.

Got rid of them to trick or treaters this year.

Aren't Smarties coloured with veg dyes now? Or have I been suckered by Nestle?

CharlieAndLolasMummy · 24/12/2007 19:54

oh ar$e I haven't got time to click through 7 pages, I only opened the thread because it was OBVIOUSLY franny's.

Can someone tell me what happened? Did the boy get his Smarties? And WHAT was in the square packet?

Am agog but not sufficiently to click through a bunch of crap to find out.

(WTF is it with not being able to just scroll down now, anyway?)

ADDICTEDtosayingHAAAAAAAPYxmas · 24/12/2007 19:55

you can scroll down you just have to change your settings to mumsnet classic. go onto the same row as active convos and there is a link called customise talk board.

CharlieAndLolasMummy · 24/12/2007 20:00

ah thats better.

but the display is an odd colour

ok now I will find out what happened

lou33 · 24/12/2007 20:07
