Am I allowed to unwrap ds's present from neighbour (which I strongly suspect is MONSTER tube of smarties), bung in something lentilly, and rewrap tonight when he is in bed?

I am allergic to the purchase of Nestle products myself, but in the name of child protection, I will, for your boy, crush said Smarties with my teeth and soak them in (stomach) acid for you.

I'd remove the crack pipe. It's the long package, next to the organic hemp hairshirt weaved by the 8 year old Nepalese kids.

Really, they're just smarties, and it's not your money that Nestle's grabbed. I can understand not wanting to contribute to their profits, but you're not.

God I siphon of most of the crap gifts people give to my kids. I have a huge stock in a washing basket on top of the freezer. Trouble is I can't bring myself to pass on stuff manufactured by babykillers multi-nationals to other people either.

What to do with 5 kgs of cheap greasy chocolate??

FrannyandZooey · 24/12/2007 15:11

could you compost it Moondog?

arf

Franny, if, when you shake the tubular gift it makes the following sound:

""

They are most definitely smarties

Have you hit the magic 12 week mark yet?

mummymagic · 24/12/2007 15:22

ah . will you find out the sex?

in sleep deprived limbo land. he wakes between 5 and 10 times a night. it's exhausting and i worry about dropping him in the middle of the night

but he's healthy. i keep focusing on that and trying to be grateful. i had a 2.5 hr lie in today as ILs here (sigh relates to lie-in ratehr than presence of ILs per se)
