Will be seeing them next week so haven’t got presents yet (this is normal for our family).
But hoping for inspiration from any great presents your DC got!
Also a few adult presents if you got anything good?

Chess set (7 yo and 12 yo)
Street through time book (7yo)
Tub of dinosaurs (7yo)
Hoodies (12 yo)
Cosy fake oodies (all)

Magic straws (straws you put in a cup of milk and changes the flavour of milk as you drink through them).

Ooodie style blankets

And for adults.... long hot water bottles. They are wonderful.

Anything by this brand of games. Our local toy shop sells them and every one has been a hit. This year we got Camelot Jr for our five year old but have quite a few now and all three kids love them (they are 9, 7 and 5). Some good fun for adults too.

Got ds 10 Blockus which was a hit along with Spider-Man Lego. Both dcs love their snuddies.

A fake Jenga from Amazon where the wooden blocks are different colours. We have played Jenga with it as a family but the kids have played with the blocks in many different ways since too, including inventing games. I also got them each a bog standard torch and they love them too. They are 3 and 5.

Oddballs pants abs or hats

WimpoleHat · 27/12/2021 15:38

My girls are at the top of the age range you give. My friend kindly sent them pyjamas from Cyberjammies, which went straight on and have barely come off! A huge hit!

EnglishGirlApproximately · 27/12/2021 15:39

For my nine year old the surprise hits have been Throw Throw Burrito and a mega box of fidget toys from The Works.

TulipVictory · 27/12/2021 15:43

My four year olds favourite gift was actually a DIY make your own bath bomb set 🙈

ScrambledSmegs · 27/12/2021 15:46

9 & 11yos. Telescopic back scratchers from Flying Tiger Confused

Utterly bizarre.

JoanDarc · 27/12/2021 15:57

My 9 yr old son got this for Christmas and loved it. It can be played as a single player or else has the function to play as a multi player game. We had great fun playing this as a family.

If you're near an IKEA (they have some good stuff for gamers.

I brought my DS the head lamp. It's a lamp in the shape of a head and changes colour every few seconds, you use it to put your headset on when not using it.
Also a wooden hand which holds your controller when not playing. The hand has so many joints you can put it in any position you want.
Just adds some fun to the gaming area.
I think £20 each.

Also a light projector for the room. Can be so relaxing and looks great. I know loads of kids who have had them this year.

I got my 11yo a little inkless printer which she absolutely loves. It was about £40 with quite a few rolls of paper.

My daughter is four and is obsessed with her Rizmo. It was cheap too. It hasn’t left her hand yet.

Hellocatshome · 27/12/2021 16:26

I bought people get from 5 to 35 one of those octopuses (octopi?) that you can turn inside out to display either happy face or sad face. They were just a little something to go with other things but they all seemd to really like them even the grump 14 year old.
