Will be seeing them next week so haven’t got presents yet (this is normal for our family).
But hoping for inspiration from any great presents your DC got!
Also a few adult presents if you got anything good?

9 year old dd loves the how to draw amime book she got along with a set of artists pencils. She's actually been really absorbed in drawing. Also loves the chocolate melting pot. That's been a hit with both dds.

6year old has loved her craft boxes and her top model sticker books.

We have a six year old and a two year old so at the lower end of your age range, but they have loved the den building kit we got for about £12 from The Works. You just need an old sheet or lightweight blanket to chuck over the top.

My 4 yo, out of everything he got, loves this cheapo rocket launcher!

Both mine (9 & 14) loved their LED strip lights for their rooms.

MyDcAreMarvel · 27/12/2021 17:22

This was really popular with my dc ages 6-9.

@ABCeasyasdohrayme

I got my 11yo a little inkless printer which she absolutely loves. It was about £40 with quite a few rolls of paper.

Speed track has been a massive hit with our 4 year old. And Playmobil knights and space rocket sets have occupied him for a good few hours today (and me putting them all together)

frazzledasarock · 27/12/2021 18:56

Barbie doctor unicorn
Puzzles (4 year old is loving doing puzzles, needs someone to sit and play with her but it’s keeping her occupied for aaages!)

Papillon1 · 27/12/2021 18:59

My 6 year old got a shimmer me body art set. Kids age 5-12, both boys and girls loved it! And all the adults also now have shimmery tattoos!

minipie · 27/12/2021 19:00

9 yr old DD - Little inventors book, Exploding Kittens.

6 yr old - Harry Potter lego

Both - Drone (saw it at Hamleys but got much cheaper on Black Friday)

Furry cushions for their rooms - they are carrying them around the house!

parrotonmyshoulder · 27/12/2021 19:14

Thanks for all the great ideas. The 4 year old is a child who seemingly has everything, lucky boy, so he is HARD to buy for. The others - 7, 8, 12 have very little space and need to do regular culling of their toys and belongings. Consumables might be best.

Furry cushions though - popular with my DC as well.

Even our dog loves his octopus soft toy with sad/ happy face!

TrashPanda · 27/12/2021 19:36

Hot water bottles, whoopee cushions and oodies here for boys aged 3, 6 & 12. The 3yo is also obsessed with a llama that shakes it's bum.

mewkins · 27/12/2021 19:36

My dd (11) has loved a proper bead jewellery making set, Boba squishee and fake oodie. Also, fluffy socks, and a leather bound journal. Oh and a fountain calligraphy pen. My ds (7) a lego set and gel pens.

ineedsun · 27/12/2021 19:44

Whoopie cushions, they got all sorts of big presents and the thing they played with all day (till mum and dad got annoyed) was the whoopie cushions 😂

I’m the Nanna who bought the whoopie cushions - sorry / not sorry 😂

Rainbowshit · 27/12/2021 19:50

Throw throw burrito. Thought might be a bit young for my DD 12 but her and her older brother and cousins played it for ages.

somethingischasingme · 27/12/2021 19:54

All the nieces / nephews ( 5- 11 year olds ) got hexbugs nano flash orbit sets.
The 14 year old played with them all day too! Will get her one for her birthday!!
