The fat face sale is brilliant. Got some great bits for DH and my youngest DD. I may accidentally have ordered myself a couple of things too.

Aldi had a few Lacura gifts sets reduced, the Lacura hair mask in a hessian bag with hair wrap and tangle teaser down from £9.99 to £7.99. Lacura shine bright Korean beauty skin care set down from £14.99 to £9.99, it has 4 items included which are priced individually at £4.49 and above like the watermelon moisturiser which is part of today's special deals. Nice budget friendly treat. Also worth a mention is their silk beauty pillowcase (3 different colours) at £22.99, they'd just gone out this morning and were selling quickly, I picked one up for my mum for mother's day to go with the half price no.7 skincare set I picked up in the sale.

What weight is best please? I know there's a guide and it says 10% but is that true? I'm 60kg, would it be best to go for the 7 or a higher one? Also, is the price true, is the quality really worth the originally price on it?

@PinkDaydreams they had 7kg and 11kg when I bought them but think they are out of stock now of the 7kg in the coloir I bought. You are supposed to get around 10% of your body weight as a guide. I've no idea if the price is true, I'm not a John lewis employee but I doubt they would be able to state it if not previously sold at that price. There's plenty of reviews on the JL from when it was full price. It's definitely much nicer than the one I bought at £50 a few years ago.

I've decided to leave it as not keen on the colours and am trying to have a year of not buying for the sake of it. I was looking at those two weights but couldn't decide between which one!

I've had my DPD notification for Monday delivery!

I went to John Lewis today and was pretty disappointed. Beauty "reduced to clear" was about 20% off, and more expensive than I'd bought in M&S before Xmas.

Their Christmas shop is still only 50% off.

M&S on the other hand had cards and Harry Potter wrap reduced to 20p, and I got a fabulous pair of burgundy leather gloves reduced from £25 to £5.50.

Ooooh I'm going to our local Matalan tomorrow so hopefully they'll have had a similar delivery!

The net a porter beauty advent calendar is now half price. Still expensive but worth a lot and the contents look good (may have bought one for myself)
