Fantasy Christmas list - I'll start

You know how blokes do fantasy football? Here's fantasy Christmas:

Presents haven't really happened for us for a long time. And less and less with the extended family. It kinda ... Faded.

OH and I just do a shared thing we can enjoy together, which is nice. Experiences. Nothing to dust. You know.

Money has made its absence felt.

But watching the ads, the magazine article all the over the top stuff got me thinking about twinkly sparkly parcels and bows and everything in drifts under a huge tree.

So ... As midnight comes on Christmas Eve, what would you love to discover under the tree if you could?

My list:

A bottle of Chanel Number 5
A pile of the most beautiful, fascinating hardback books of the year
Diamond earrings
A bottle of Kraken rum
Lots of scented candles
A web cam
A holiday at a gorgeous English country hotel
Some boots

A puppy!

A personal hairdresser who can actually sort my frizz
A chauffeur
A lovely, lovely house in the country
A divorce

OK, totally OTT lottery win fantasy list.

Oh and presents from my mum and dad, delivered in person when they come to Christmas Dinner. Actually I'd trade all of the above for that to happen. They'll be watching from heaven though.

I'd wish for my husband to find a massive boxset of Firefly under the tree because they've brought it back. I'd like my MIL to find a joblot of Smith's ready salted chipsticks and I'd like to see my childhood bear Madison with one eye

Yes, I'm being very greedy, but it is fantasy. And I'd use the lottery win to buy homes for my 3 adult dc and myself.

Ooh great idea. We are skint. One small wage as I’m a full time carer for my disabled son. For years I have wanted an Apple Watch. Don’t even want an expensive wristband. Just an Apple Watch to link to my phone and help me with various health apps.

Also would like:
Some jeans that fit. Couple of pairs.
Socks. No one buys me socks, and I need some. Can’t justify buying new of myself right now.
Paid for Housekeeper for the year to sort my clutter out and help me keep on top of things
A new kitchen
New towels for the bathroom
Some new shoes. Walking shoes and every day school run shoes.

An Art Deco style cocktail ring

For DH - the Peugeot salt and pepper grinders (he’s wanted them for ages but realistically who would ever spend that on salt and pepper grinders)

For DS - monkeys. Of various sorts. Perhaps cuddly though or the clean up might be pretty brutal.

@blackfriars my DH wanted those salt and pepper grinders, I told him to think again so he chose OXO brand wooden ones which are naice but much more reasonable!
