What’s your go-to Christmas movie?

Just that really, do you have a film you watch every Christmas, what is it and why? I’d like to see if there are any others worth checking out.

Personally I always watch Miracle on 34th Street (not the black and white one). I think Richard Attenborough was a super convincing Father Christmas to me as a kid, and I always loved that scene of him signing with the deaf girl.

Now I’ve got an almost-2 year old, we watched Muppets Christmas Carol last year and may do again this year to see if any parts of it will hold his attention. I always liked how seriously Micheal Cane played it!

Nativity!

It's always the first Christmas film of the season that we watch and I absolutely love it. I cry every time!

White Christmas - caught half of it on tv yesterday but we'll have to watch the full thing at some point

Gremlins - this has been our Xmas Eve movie every year since ds was old enough.

We love Jingle All The Way, so funny.

Home Alone 1&2

I also love miracle on 34th street. We watched it last night. I cry every time 😂. My 2 year old has loved the Grinch this year.

Deck The Halls and Home Alone 2 are my fav Xmas films.

The Bishop’s Wife and It’s a Wonderful Life are the two classics I always watch.

Rare Exports: a Christmas Tale (Finnish film) is very good but not a children’s film.

I like Deck the halls too. The Danny Devito one. There is a cheesy romance one as well about.

Father of the Bride 1 and 2 for some reason I always have to watch at Christmas.

DH always has to watch Muppets Christmas Carol.
Me - National lampoon's christmas vacation, home alone 1&2, the holiday. I always try and watch loads of others throughout December though

It's not Xmas until I have watched Scrooged. Massively underrated...

Arthur Christmas is a new favourite of ours.

Bad moms christmas. Seriously. I stay up late alone wrapping presents and watching it each year.

The Santa Clause. Love Tim Allen as Santa. It's been my favourite Christmas movie since it came out in the 90's.
Before that is was Santa Claus the Movie with Dudley Moore.
