Snack Surprise. Avoid this company at all costs! Ordered a subscription for a family with some vegetarians. The website says there will be nutritional information and a V to indicate vegetarian items in their booklet in the box. This was not included. I complained as it meant the vegetarians could not eat any of the snacks. They acknowledged it wasn’t given because they were too busy and basically said tough. Refused a return / refund. Totally unethical and probably a breach of contract.

@RainbowPhilosophy a hot tub wouldn’t be my choice but he’s always wanted one so was trying to make a grand gesture after a terrible year.

Don’t know what to get him now, they’ve all shot up in price probably so they can be discounted post Christmas.

@AlexinMotherland buy a cheap paddling pool, and write on the box to hold you over whilst the hot tub arrives - gives you breathing space and he still gets to be excited about getting one

That's not good, but I usually find them ok (I'm not vegetarian though, so never had this issue). I've been a subscriber for about 18 months.

@WeeFae it does make me wonder about their ethics that they can acknowledge their fault but still refuse to put it right

However we have fragile relationship she is notoriously picky about her gifts and is a sulker (she stopped speaking to my poor sister for 3 months because she accidentally picked up the wrong sized pjs in M&S hanger said correct size (18) labels were (22) so was extremely insulted 😔

Dad 71 due to low immunity not venturing out much previously loved getting tickets for the rugby and going with eldest DGS or restaurant gift voucher
