When is everyone actually doing this shop?

I'll shop next Sunday as I do every week, but that will only really see me through until Christmas Eve.

So, when is the Christmas shop being done, 22nd? 23rd?

MintyCedric · 12/12/2021 09:16

@tistheseeson

I'm picking up a few non perishables/freezable bits each week.

Having a Sainsburys delivery on 23rd and Mum has a Morrisons one booked for the same day so between us we should be sorted.

Sweet potato
Gravy granules
Dessert or ingredients for it (I am baking a Vegan lemon cheesecake)
Whatever you are having for Breakfast

@desperatehousewife21

Brussel sprouts for the kids cos they weirdly love them even thought DH and I do not! Got our first mince pies of the year today so they’ll prob keep being bought. Gotta have a constant stream of twiglets Grin

Do love cheese so Stilton/ camembert but tbh I eat them all year round so not all that special for Xmas, just there’s a lot more of it in the shops atm. Actually bought both today!

I also LOVE sugared almonds, they’re my Xmas fav and they’re SO hard to find these days, so if anyone sees any please let me know!

Of all places, Hobbycraft do sugared almonds, and there are a number of retailers on Amazon who sell them!
desperatehousewife21 · 18/12/2021 06:40

@Rememberallball damn I was in hobby craft a few weeks ago but wouldn’t even think to look for them there Xmas Confused thank you though!
