Title because the last one’s nearly used up and I haven’t got time to do my usual picking of a title, sorry.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Justyou I saw them a couple of days ago and I'm sure they were just under £30. They're absolutely massive.

Justyou · 10/12/2021 17:04

Thank u 🙏

I'm late to the fake oodie/hooded blanket party. I've now decided DH might actually use one, as he falls asleep on the sofa every evening with his dressing gown wrapped around his head. Where is a good place to get a nice soft, long one from please, ideally as cheaply as possible.

If anyone is still looking to reduce a Hotel Chocolat spend, Quidco are doing a £20 boost if you complete 2 transactions of £50 or more with a number of retailers including HC and a lot of supermarkets. There's a full list on the website, ends Sunday. Even if you are just doing a weekly shop and one other purchase I think it'd be pretty easy to get.

I got these milk chocolate Brazil’s from Amazon for dh’s birthday last month and they were the nicest Brazil’s we’ve ever had!

I have an enormous box filled with squishmallows (dragons, a giant purple rabbit among others) as my son was collecting them during lockdown. Based in NI but happy to post.
No I do not have an ultra rare bigfoot or sasqutch creature.

Feetupteashot · 10/12/2021 18:26

@HolidayTime2021 that kitchen will make a 3yo very happy, thank you!!!

@RainbowPhilosophy and anyone else that is waiting for their Flying Tiger order, my parcel that had cleared customs on 2nd December is now apparently in Poland (?!) so it doesn’t look like it will arrive any time soon Sad

Poland?! Then where on earth was it clearing customs?! Thank you for the update @Mipe - doesn't look like they'll get here in time for any Christmas gifts to be posted on then does it 😭

@nicky2512

I would like a few extra wee bits for my dad. Does anyone know where I could get a nice box of milk chocolate covered Brazil nuts? Asda/Tesco both do assortments but he doesn’t like dark chocolate.

My other idea is midget gem sweets - he used to get those years ago when I was little weighed out in the shop from a bottle! Only the soft ones though.
Can’t really think of anything else.

@nicky252 I saw some milk choc Brazil nuts in Home bargains yesterday. Unfortunately I was looking for dark chocolate ones!!
ConsuelaHammock · 10/12/2021 18:48

Thank you Sarah!

Justyou · 10/12/2021 18:53

Supermarket own brand midget gems are usually soft if they are any good whoever was looking

nicky2512 · 10/12/2021 19:06

Brilliant. Thanks everyone for the Brazil nut and midget gem help! I think I will get him a selection and keep him eating for a while.

The Polish team were contacted when I asked about my order & they said
"Your shipment is now being processed by London branch and soon will be forwarded to the last-mile provider. Please expect an automatic e-mail with the new tracking number and ETA"
Two days ago - Still waiting for email...

Not sure if that helps 😬

Could I ask for some recommendations for ds nursery assistant ? She’s his absolute favourite but quite young I’ve no idea what to get her.

Also secret Santa for a pregnant lady budget only £10 🤷🏻‍♀️

RainbowPhilosophy · 10/12/2021 19:21

I have now ordered a few stocking fillers and came back to share in case it helps anyone else (thanks again to anyone who made suggestions).

I ordered this gardening apron and a couple of these snowflake multitools. I also added a pot of O'Keefes working hands for my dad who is a keen gardener with eczema.

@Picklesbaby I got my DS to draw his keyworker a picture/card and I bought her some Lindor chocolates and some bits related to her favourite TV programme that she's crazy about. What about a nice notebook and pen? I know they use them to record their observations, reminders, planning etc.

@nothingcanhurtmewithmyeyesshut I really want to know what thread that should have been on. Sounds fun Grin
