Wee gift for DS' girlfriend

DS has been seeing her since Spring and she's lovely. Want to get her something for Christmas - on a major budget and I know she's not expecting anything. She's quite relaxed and dressed casually , not into lots of make up or getting dressed up. She uses canvas bags, is a vegetarian and I think quite eco aware without going on about it. Drinks but only when out. Any ideas as I'm all out of them and it needs to be online as I can't get to shops?!

Foldaway reusable straw? I got gifted one a few years ago and it's very handy for having in your bag

MyAnacondaMight · 05/12/2021 12:00

How old is she? And how much do you want to spend?

Bellabelloo · 05/12/2021 12:01

I'm sure something like a little box of chocolates would be very appreciated. It'll show that you like her and are including her and thinking of her.

Moonface123 · 05/12/2021 12:02

Neals Yard gift set? You can get some for around £10.

OzziePopPop · 05/12/2021 12:26

Beeswax wraps? They’re under a tenner and a great alternative to clingfilm. Or reusable straws, I use our set a surprising amount 🎄🎄🎄

Dishwashersaurous · 05/12/2021 12:32

When I was first seeing my now husband, his parents gave me a silver and amethyst necklace and earrings set at Christmas. It wouldn't have been hugely expensive but I loved it. Maybe something like that if she wears any jewellery? Amazon always have lots in the daily deals.

SandPerson · 05/12/2021 12:38

How old is she and more importantly what is your budget

GiltEdges · 05/12/2021 12:53

Reusable bamboo travel cup?

dottiedodah · 05/12/2021 13:03

If shes veggie maybe a nice box of Green and Blacks .£9.20 on Amazon. My friend whos veggie likes these .Etsy have some Bamboo Socks at around £6.00 per pair .For each one sold another is donated to a homeless person.

updownroundandround · 05/12/2021 13:03

What about a scarf ?

A pair of earrings ?

Some cosy fluffy socks ?

Something cheap(ish) like these would be lovely, but aren't overly 'personal'.

bethclark553 · 05/12/2021 13:07

Re-usable coffee cup
Lush Shampoo bars
There is no planet B book

Barton10 · 05/12/2021 13:11

Lush bath bombs or bubble bars and maybe some nice chocolates

MrsBrianJones · 05/12/2021 13:15

Just check if you can that she’s not actually vegan, many young people are now. If so, it’ll narrow down the suitable gifts you can get but there are many vegan options online now and you’ll score points by checking Grin

Elieza · 05/12/2021 13:35

Ask your son what he’s getting her as you could buy similar. Eg if he is getting her a had you could get gloves. If he is getting her socks you could get slippers.

He should know if she is vegan or not too so you don’t make a mistake buying something that has been tested on animals or whatever.

littlepieces · 05/12/2021 13:43

Sounds like me...
Would recommend something consumable. Fair trade chocolate taster boxes/gift packs eg. Divine or Tony's. Cosy socks made from natural fibres. Natural skincare like Sukin, Neal's Yard - have a look on Holland and Barrett.
Would steer well clear from jewellery.

trumpisagit · 05/12/2021 13:48

Chocolates, is a good idea. What's your budget?

jocktamsonsbairn · 05/12/2021 14:22

@Bellabelloo

That's what I'm aiming for just to say exactly that!! Sorry should have said she's 21, def not vegan and I don't know how much to spend! I think DS is getting her some jewellery and some bits she's said she likes when they've been out.
