Thanks @TimeForTheChristmasTree for the title, although so many options to pick for this one!

Or luxurious gloves/ Turtledove gloves/ cashmere socks if she's out volunteering a lot.

@lolarabbit

Has anyone seen any large, colourful Christmas Cactus plants on their travels? I'm sure supermarkets/ chain garden centres/diy places probably have them but I'm miles away from a town and would like to head to somewhere specific. I'll try to attach image of the sort if thing I mean...ThanksXmas Smile
I got one last week from Homebase
nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 05/12/2021 22:33

@LalaDipsey

Thank you *@Squ1ggle and @Namechangesagain* that's really great of you. It definitely has to be a onesie, but the Sainsbury's one is definitely a cheaper option if no fluffy ones turn up - thank you Smile
@laladipsey how about dunhelm? I'm sure they did a Teddy bear fleece onesie, they are nice and soft. Or primark often have nice onesies that are soft, dd1 is fussy with materials and only likes soft things, she has one from there.
Fuckingfuckssake · 05/12/2021 22:36

FC related help please, my DD has asked for a bauble, non specific, but if it's coming from the North Pole it's got to be a bit special right? Any suggestions gratefully received.

MWestie · 05/12/2021 22:37

Has anyone seen any Ipads in stock anywhere at all? Looking for a basic model for my DD, doesn't have to be the most recent, but all seem to be sold out. Thank you!

Fluffyduckxmas · 05/12/2021 22:40

@Froppysue I have a cinnamon bun squishmallow going spare that you could have if you’re still looking? I’ve lurked on this thread for a long time & it’s given me lots of good ideas & saved me a shed load of money so would be nice to contribute in some way!

LalaDipsey · 05/12/2021 22:41

Thank you @nocutsnobuttsnococonuts
I shall check out Dunelm - I've haunted Primark in the hope they will have one without a hood as they are so soft but even seeing a boy's onesie at all seems a rarity atm! Thanks so much Smile

Fully refurbished from Apple is probably the way to go. They come as if they were new, and have warranty etc. also environmentally better, give the re-use.
LalaDipsey · 05/12/2021 22:43

@Fuckingfuckssake there are some really beautiful ones at my local garden centre or, if you're feeling creative you can get empty ones you full with a photo and you could personalise it? I've seen those in a few places - B&M, home bargains

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 05/12/2021 22:46

Thank you @PastelGiraffen for the Shibui Tea recommendation, presents ordered!!

If anyone likes Boots No 7 then the Boots website currently has quite a few offers - special bundle prices, £10 off when you spend £20, free gifts for spending £20 or £40 etc

MWestie · 05/12/2021 22:46

Thanks @LastStarFighter I would certainly consider that.

fernsandlilies · 05/12/2021 22:51

@flowersforyou

Has anybody got any offers for bottles that keep drinks warm? Like the chillys bottles? Thank you!
Try SHO. Gorgeous colours, great quality and they really do work. 40% off at present with code XMAS40. NB take care, not all the cups are travel cups, some are designed for static outdoor/indoor use, read the description carefully.
hotchocdrinker · 05/12/2021 22:54

For those wanting insulated bottles etc, try Sho. They have 40% off with the code XMAS40, and free delivery too. shoreusable.com/

Someone posted a suggestion for buying a waterproof phone case on a lanyard. Could anyone recommend one please. This may sound silly but I don’t know the phone size. Help!

lolarabbit · 05/12/2021 23:05

Thanks @stepfordwifey and @Cockle1234 - I'll check those out.

PenguinTattoo · 05/12/2021 23:11

@AnotherOne4

Ok I need help. OH has been getting into weights lately. (I'm concerned they will leave marks on our carpet lol) Is there a mat, or some such thing, I can get him to exercise on, put the weights on. I know there are yoga mats, do you think they'll do?
I got an extra thick yoga mat from amazon a few years ago that is brilliant. Decathlon also sell interlocking mats which we used for Joe Wicks lockdown and would also work. But yoga mat is thicker.
Fuckingfuckssake · 05/12/2021 23:11

Thank you @LalaDipsey her current favourite bauble is a picture one though.
Koala Squishmallow, can't vouch for the site but they have one here? www.squishmallows-us.com/collections/squishmallowsus-original/products/8-inch-abby-the-octopus

I'll check my Aldi tomorrow though.

Landsend have this fleecey one at 50% off at the moment. Not sure what he would consider fluffy but it does look soft and cosy

Not Xmas related (sorry) but dd is 13 next week and I'm getting pissed off that I can't find any nice decorations! Everything is caution stroppy teenager/ omg u r 13!!/ sassy teen kween 🤦‍♀️ I just want something nice, I guess she isn't the stereotypical teen.

In return for reading my rant, I have a £5 off £50 spend at Argos Xmas Smile for anyone who read this far.

2319inprogress · 05/12/2021 23:49

I also have a teen that doesn't fit all that stuff 22 & tbh her friends don't fit it either - I absolutely hate that teen is used as a pejorative! Does she have a favourite colour you can base it all around? That's what we did.

Ruralretreating · 05/12/2021 23:52

@LalaDipsey have you looked at Boden? The hood less ones are cotton but brushed inside for softness. I think their fleece ones are all hooded unfortunately

SingItToWinIt · 05/12/2021 23:58
