Thanks @squishmycherry for the title. A massage gin sounds interesting !

@Didyeaye I have a brand new single gnome one I could post to you?

thaegumathteth · 24/11/2021 23:32

Never mind as soon as I asked above I found the promo code box (right down the bottom of the initial basket page)

Thank you for the CUST20 code - managed to buy replacement water bottles as dd has managed to break 3 lately Hmm

Skippettydooo · 24/11/2021 23:43

Any ideas on how to get a deal on revitalash?
Tried the new sign up with Harvey nicks but it's excluded from the promotion

Skippettydooo · 24/11/2021 23:50

Cult beauty first15 works on revitalash

TheBestWhootersInWhoville · 24/11/2021 23:51

@Smileatthesmallthings

Boots have a Grinch cereal bowl and mug set.
Marks & Spencer’s and Sainsbury’s/Argos have some Grinch clothing including pyjamas.
Aldi and The Range have grinch wrapping paper and the Range has Grinch crackers.
And as a pp mentioned build a bear workshop has Grinches.
I promise I’m not obsessed with The Grinch Grin

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 24/11/2021 23:54

@VividImaginationAgain thank you so much for the Jaques code, that took care of the postage cost!!

@Icantfindanewname I'm very jealous of your trip to York with potential Fat Rascals Grin I'm hoping to buy a few bits from the Potions Cauldron in time for Christmas, will have to have them posted though as I live nowhere near there any more - wonder if they'll have any Black Friday offers Hmm

Ordnance Survey shop has 20% off everything here

Chocolate Cafe (small local business which I've used often!) has 15% off some chocolates here

FestiveJoy · 24/11/2021 23:58

Posted this on another thread but thought it might be of interest here too. For people tricky to buy for you could go for a book subscription?

There's one available from an independent bookseller that is gorgeous. (I've seen a box and it's lovely!) www.kenilworthbooks.co.uk/book-club-box-gift-a-book-treat-box/

It's £10.50 for one box or £65 for a 6 month subscription. I thought that was a good price.

RicherThanYew · 25/11/2021 00:05

@Charlottle I bought my red tartan blanket from Heritage of Scotland/Scotland Heritage and the quality is just wonderful. It was already on sale and I had cashback on TCB app. Its very thick and cuddly.

BeaLola · 25/11/2021 00:33

@sycamorescrumptious

Can I ask for any ideas for my 6yo DS? Really struggling with ideas for him as he already has all his DBs hand-me-down toys and no strong interests of his own (beyond screens which I refuse to indulge at 6yo!Blush)

Trying to avoid plastic rubbish too which makes it very difficult!

Sledge - for when snow may come Book of paper aeroplanes Slinky Google mini - my Ds loved asking silly info of his and for silly jokes

Activity like Go Ape junior ?
Boomerang
Those squirt balls that bounce and light up as they bounce
Wallet for his pennies
Teddy bear fleece blanket from Dunelm

buckeejit · 25/11/2021 00:35

@Skippettydooo not exactly a revitalise deal but a smaller tube of revitalise advance in this great value box for £60. I bought 2 😁

Similar type husband, hits here have been
Mulberry belt
Very fancy nail kit with lots of bits, think it was niegeloh, it gets used all the time.
Aspinall ( then replaced with Dunhill as Aspinal went in the wash 😬) card holder that just takes travelcard, one cc and photo slot for drivers licence/residence permit where we live now
Gorgeous leather messenger laptop bag
Mulberry wallet
Blunt umbrella (huge hit)
Leather pouch organiser type thing
This year he is getting a first edition antique cocktail book

Perching · 25/11/2021 00:44

Be careful when shopping Black Friday deals and make sure to shop around. An investigation from Which? found that 90% of Black Friday sale products had been priced the same or cheaper in the 6 months leading up to the sale. Companies gradually increase their prices on the run up to November, just so that "discounted" stuff will look cheap for Black Friday, when in actuality you can end up paying more. Same goes for Cyber Monday, although, at this point smaller companies are a tad more motivated to clear the surplus stock.

Dolphintrainer · 25/11/2021 04:04

@Annie1290 this was the one from about 10 threads ago, as I bought it. It’s for Christmas so it hasn’t been opened yet. On a good price on Amazon atm too

Barbie dream house in Amazon Black Friday deals for £181

Cosywosy · 25/11/2021 04:53

Amazon have 20% off Warehouse deals. I've had no issues with previous orders, there might be damaged packaging but I've either bought for me or DD who's been too young to notice, I'd now say it fell off Santa's sleigh Grin

I know some people have been less lucky and the item's been used. Also, check the new item price as some of the items are discounted for Black Friday so cheaper to buy new.

ThePurpleGirl · 25/11/2021 05:19

Amazon Lego Architecture New York £27.89

According to 3camels it's the lowest price since 2016 Xmas Shock

Mummyme87 · 25/11/2021 06:14

@sycamorescrumptious Lego and playmobil

@Smileatthesmallthings Sainsbury’s has family grinch pjs and slippers this year

IggyAce · 25/11/2021 06:16

Poundtoy have an extra 50% off with code BLACK50

True dat. I have about 20 tabs open on the computer as I frantically price check Grin There was a corker yesterday- am thinking of treating myself to a Kenwood mixer, and the one on Amazon (Italy) with the best offer was down from €600 to €300. Knowing that Amazon aren't always reliable in pricing, I had a look at the electrical goods retailers here and found the same one at €1400 Confused
MyPatronusIsAPenguin · 25/11/2021 06:36

Help plea! Has anyone seen any elves that aren't the traditional elf on the shelf type? Found some in Studio only for them to email they're out of stock after I ordered! DS thinks his younger brother will get his own this year. Tried saying it's one per household but his friend has 3!

Methenyouplus4 · 25/11/2021 06:42

Bit of a plea to this lovely thread...Flowers

I bought 5 sets of matching pjs from Primarc, grey with little green Christmas trees (I think about £4.50 a set).

They didn't have XL size I would need for 6th pair for my husband, and I have managed to loose my receipt for the 5 other pairs.Blush

I have been to 3 different stores but to no avail, a friend pointed out I could at least exchange the other 5 pairs, but it's not somewhere I really shop.

So... (a bit scared to ask in case I end up with hundreds of pairs)...

If anyone is in Primarc and sees the matching pjs-grey t-shirt type material with sort of 'sketched' trees on- in an XL, could you buy me the set and I will send you payment, postage costs and be eternally grateful? WineCakeGin

Thank you.

Mummyme87 · 25/11/2021 06:44

@methenyouplus4

I’ll have a look Friday for you on Sutton, South London

ChristmasLightsAndSparkles · 25/11/2021 06:45

Can anyone suggest gifts for a keen knitter? She's been knitting for a few years, always has something cool on the go (hats, socks, jumpers) but doesn't have any of the bits that go with it. I thought of a knitting bag, but I don't knit so I could do with some advice! Or other suggestions...

Smileatthesmallthings · 25/11/2021 06:46

Oh wow, thank you everyone for Grinch ideas! I'm so excited to put it back on for him and extra Grinch goodies are just going to make it perfect!!
