Thanks @squishmycherry for the title. A massage gin sounds interesting !

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Sorry don’t know what I did there !

Number109 · 24/11/2021 21:26

@amazeandastonish

Looking for Christmas peasants

Really stuck as to what to get anyone

Got my very fussy DM who doesn't really like anything but also won't take cash or vouchers instead, DF who I usually buy vinyl and wine for (but want to maybe try something different), and MIL and FIL who like gardening and cars and equally car mad DH

Are your FIL and DH into motor racing? If so then tickets to Silverstone museum. There’s also a company called racing chocs who make chocolates in the design of legendary race helmets which might make a nice present.

@WotgunShedding
@Justhereforthechristmasthreads

Thanks so much, all very kind. It’s the nomad ones.
I just had another look and they’re available for click and collect in Livingston. Will be a 1.5 hours round trip. That’s reasonable isn’t it? Isn’t it?! I’ve lost all
Sense of reasonableness in my quest for family matching bedcovers.
There’s a sainsburys there too. I can check for the fabled £18 barbie food truck (still not over it 😠 🤣)

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 24/11/2021 21:28

I can order you two singles from my local and send to you @Didyeaye

Don't drive that far for them

picklepants756 · 24/11/2021 21:30

The Lee Stafford website has 50% off everything - worth grabbing some stocking fillers! X

shinny · 24/11/2021 21:31

Thank you so much for the railcard discount. I didn't even know I could get one but have so many trips to London coming up it will save me a fortune.

Whoever is looking for NORTH FACE jackets - I got one from BLACKS yesterday for £136 instead of £200 as they had a discount and my computer applied some discount too. Edge I think it is? I looked in several places but that was the best deal.

How does the Aldi gin compare to M&S?? They both look so pretty....

ConsuelaHammock · 24/11/2021 21:33

Thank you for the heads up about the Argos Lego. Collected a Hogsmeade today.

ConsuelaHammock · 24/11/2021 21:33

Don’t forget topcashback for Argos too!

shash1982 · 24/11/2021 21:33

Of anyone is buying Revolution cosmetics or body care, their website has good discounts at the moment with a free gift of you spend over £50.
Have also discovered they have the film Elf bodysprays, lotions & bath stuff.

RJnomore1 · 24/11/2021 21:35

@reastie thank you! I’ll go do some due diligence and see how generous I am feeling towards dd1 😁

Annie1290 · 24/11/2021 21:43

I'm after some recommendations.

Many threads ago someone
Was talking about an escape room game, can anyone enlighten me?

Has anyone seen any good deals on the Contigo travel mug that's always recommended on here?

And anyone seen any good deals on smart plugs as I need quite a few...

what2say · 24/11/2021 21:46

Thank you for the railcard tip :)
Just to bring to the attention that for the family travel card, it's only valid for an adult if a child is travelling with them. I think. Please correct me if I'm wrong as otherwise it's an incredible deal, but I went with the 26-30 in the end.

Haudyourwheesht · 24/11/2021 21:47

@BabbleBee These are a good deal. www.countryattire.com/ugg-scuffette-ii-womens-slippers/ca50169725.html?colour=Chestnut

amazeandastonish · 24/11/2021 21:50

ah shit, didn't even notice the typo!

Thank you that’s a better price.

Still extortionate for slippers imo Grin

Iknowitisheresomewhere · 24/11/2021 21:54

Racing chocs look amazing but aren’t taking any more orders for Christmas :(

PositiveLife · 24/11/2021 21:54

Posted on the old thread so reposting here:

Anyone else ordered from Cox&Cox? I placed an order yesterday expecting my 2 items to arrive reasonably quickly (both showing as in stock with 5-7 working day delivery in the description) but the order confirmation says it could be 15 working days before they even pack it shock plus a few days for delivery, which would be pushing it for Xmas

buckeejit · 24/11/2021 21:58

@BabbleBee dd has some lands end sheepskin slippers that were handed Down from a friend & feel lovely. At least as good as the same shape Ugg's I used To have

@crikeycrumbsblimey

Couldn’t get the railcard one to work sadly
You need to do it through trainline rather than through railcard itself. I'm definately going to forget my railcard lives in trainline now Gin
Tinysnickers · 24/11/2021 22:04

mountain warehouse black friday sale is stacking with 20% off

Use code CUST20 for 20% off, it stacks with the black friday sale prices so can get an extta £20 off a £200 coat which was already half price.

applepinkierainbow · 24/11/2021 22:07

@crikeycrumbsblimey you need to go in The Trainline website not the normal railcard website

StormyTeacups · 24/11/2021 22:09

@Didyeaye our local Dunelm on IoW seems to have them, can order and post if needed

BabbleBee · 24/11/2021 22:12

I’d seen those ones and thought they were a great alternative. Not so according to DD… I honestly don’t know when she turned into a brand snob Confused

TheCrow · 24/11/2021 22:15

@AutumnComes I've literally just been comparing prices for various mario switch games, Tesco was the cheapest for pretty much all of them with Currys being second. That seemed like it was their standard prices with no offers or money off but I'm not sure how often they're included in sales or BF

catsarebetterthandogs9 · 24/11/2021 22:16
**@Fuckingfuckssake* and @nickdrakeslovechild* sorry not a single squishmallow in my aldi.

They did however have two crates of Kevin et al, light up gin, and various annuals for £2.99
They're not supposed to be out yet!
All these sneaky little Wednesday evening shoppers are going to be snapping up my Ebanana Scrooge before they should be on the shelf Sad only half joking
