My husband prefers simple gifts so he's asked for a Moomin toy got it from Waterstones, got some Star Trek stuff and will try some books he wants.

DP bought a boat this year and has been out fishing on it quite a lot. A lovely little shop near me is stocking a really attractive wall hanging with the local tide times for 2022, complete with nice oak hanger. So he is having that.

He’s also sending me a link to a radio that he wants.

This thread has been so helpful. I have been inspired to buy a few things online while I’ve been reading it. DH’s presents:

PJs, coat, jumper and two T-shirts, all Rapanui (have a look at their bundles, really good value)

Glass tea pot with infuser, and nice tea

Sheepskin slippers

It’s made more difficult for me that my DH says “I don’t like to get clothes as a present”. He has no interest in clothes 🙄

This will probably sound ridiculous but he asked for a pen knife (he does lots of DIY). He sent me the one he liked and it was possible to engrave it. So I came up with a bit of a silly idea of engraving it with 'Knifey' and buying a teaspoon (he complains our teaspoons disappear because he leaves them up in his office) and engraving 'spoony' on it. With a note from dd saying 'I see you've played Knifey-spoony before, daddy!' (If you're a Simpsons fan you'll get it)

We won't do anything else as Xmas is so expensive for everyone.
