I tie them to the garland which is held in place with a tack either side of the chimney breast. Tacks stay there all year round.

If anyone is still looking, the NSPCC gift shop bit of their website is great for stocking gifts. Got our bamboo toothbrushes from there.

Every year they’ve done a list and I’ve always had FC buy or make things from them. Nice bit I sort of regretted it due to the cost. But also - why write a list of he won’t bring it? This year I’ve cut stockings from £100 each to £60 each.four of them so a bloody stupid habit for me to get into really.
