I know I will get 1 and 2 as I'll pick them when out with DH and he'll pay for them and then I'll wrap them and put under the tree with all the other presents!! Other family members might get some of the other things as they've asked what I'd like but I'll just have to wait and see.

Some sort of body balm (Dh gives a good foot massage)

I am a woman of simple tastes but I am lucky that Dh is very good present buying and generous with both his time and money.

I always have a very long Wish List (emphasis on ‘wish’ )

This year I’m being quite restrained, because I only really want one thing - a picnic basket - and other than that I’m very happy with all the lovely things I already have.

However in an utterly indulgent world I’d love a cashmere hat and scarf and another pair of leather gloves. Plus the very lovely Fairfax & Favor Boudica boots I’m coveting but really don’t need. Also a Barbour waxed coat. Hmmm what else...an Aspinal bag.

Looking at my list it seems I want to live like I'm in Downton Abbey - stuff like gin glasses, classic hollywood movies, red lipstick, a satin robe lol

I LOVE this thread.

I can think of plenty of things my adult DC can't afford or are too expensive for me to ask for. But 'at my age' I have everything I really need and have trouble thinking of 'Oh, that would be nice' things I wouldn't buy for myself.

So far the only thing I have on my list is a cute small-ish thermal carafe to keep my morning coffee in as I drink it slowly and it always gets cold.

A pair of boots I’ve fallen in love with but will likely buy myself before they sell out in my size.
Other than those, there’s really nothing else I want/need.

But my partner is usually very good at buying me things. Last year he got me a Kurt Geiger bag, I’d never even mentioned one to him before and it is the most gorgeous bag I’ve ever seen ☺️

On my list I have: a water tooth flosser, a new camera bag, some Jo Malone perfume and a stack of books.

I might ask for a second pair of Allbirds Tree Breezers....in a different colour to the ones I've got.

I always struggle to answer this question. Because what I really want is not easy to get.
A stylish wardrobe of clothes that is comfortable but makes me look casually elegant.
A haircut that makes me look much younger and requires zero maintenance.
All the housework is done for the year while I am sleeping.
Gorgeous wine that does not make me drunk and that does not cause hangovers.
