My parents want to know. I have no idea. Am guessing around £50.

Just starting to make my own list!

I need a new purse old one has had it unfortunately and I won't buy myself as it's bad luck (yea I know but it's been drummed into me and I can't not think it)

Perfume (always makes me feel "groomed" if I have nice perfume on)

My preferred brand of skincare which is not expensive but not cheap either

Amazon vouchers are always handy for me

I'm also looking at/coveting more expensive than I would usually spend - handbag sized make up bags. Not too big but big enough to hold what's needed and nice enough to not embarrass me if I have to take it out my handbag (which I'm afraid my current small one does)

I've spotted some jewellery in a local independent place which I LOVE but again wouldn't normally spend that on myself

Book tokens always handy for me

I'm considering asking for restaurant vouchers - I've just started venturing out OCCASIONALLY After nearly 5 years housebound with agoraphobia and the prices for food have caught me out! I also need somewhere I can sit comfortably (not bar stool type seating) as I also have a disability.

Theatre and cinema vouchers might be good for me too.

General high street vouchers actually

Crumblinginside · 04/11/2021 22:34

I want a personalised bracelet with initials of our children's names

Or clarins hand cream

Dressing gown

Tan and moisturiser

Poppets14 · 04/11/2021 22:51

I’m asking for
Perfume
Calendar
Foot spa
Theatre tickets

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 04/11/2021 23:09

Ooh, I need to make my own list.

Some of these are echoing other posters...

Nice slippers
Cashmere socks
Cashmere wrist warmers
Nice skincare
Make up palette
Restaurant vouchers (DH and I get vouchers for a nice restaurant from both sets of parents each year, we get to go and have a really nice meal in the new year) which is lovely and means they don't buy any tat which is what we used to get
Soap, body lotion etc. to match favourite perfume
Stack of books
Fashion jewellery
Exercise wear (if that's your thing)
Lovely dressing gown or pj's

Trumpton · 05/11/2021 07:53

Yes I’m in this situation aswell, I’m very easy to buy for just can’t think of anything specific this year.

Maybe,

  • Neom diffuser (although I hear the John Lewis one is practically the same and a lot cheaper)
  • new bag (I’ve used my current one everyday for 2years, it’s a rucksack style but maybe an across the body one would be nice)
  • nice toiletries, I like white company, neom, jo malone
  • nice pjs, trouser set (white company maybe but not white!!)
  • chocolate is always a winner, like hotel chocolat, Tony’s chocolatony
PermanentTemporary · 05/11/2021 09:39

One of those super reflective grey cycling jackets. Local bike shop version £85

Kimono from one hundred stars, £120 oops

More realistically, bubble bath, nice hangers, retractable washing line and someone to fit it for me, refraining a picture i love.
