Preferably something that is simple enough for them to be able amongst themselves, but fun enough that grown ups would also enjoy it.

Outfoxed is a great game.

Keepitonthedownlow · 29/10/2021 07:37

Watching for ideas.

UnalliterativeGeorge · 29/10/2021 07:38

mintbiscuit · 29/10/2021 07:39

Dobble (not a board game but awesome still)

TheShades · 29/10/2021 07:49

Enchanted Forest
Sleeping Queens
Rummikub
Carcasonne (our DD5 needs a bit of help)
What a Performance

Sherrystrull · 29/10/2021 07:54

Not a board game but my five year old loves Uno.

niceandsimple · 29/10/2021 07:56

frustration!
also great for teaching how to deal with frustrating things!!

Misty9 · 29/10/2021 08:01

Lots of the orchard toys ones at those ages - especially pizza pizza. Labyrinth but possibly a bit tricky for the youngest. Bugs in the kitchen is a hit still.

Ricekrispie22 · 29/10/2021 08:02

Triominoes
Frustration

onemouseplace · 29/10/2021 08:05

Labyrinth

Not a board game, but my 7 year old loves Exploding Kittens.

WitchsFamiliarWhichIsFamiliar · 29/10/2021 08:08

Junior Monopoly
Dobble
Outfoxed

Mine also plays chess! Makes us sound really brainy, but we aren't. She started when she was 4. She is 6 now and has beaten a grown up, (OK the grown up in question hadn't really played chess before, so wasn't really fair, but even still). She also likes chequers.

Marikali · 29/10/2021 08:14

Dobble, fun for all ages!
Super farmer
Uno
Too many monkeys

Anatomical · 29/10/2021 08:14

Another one saying Labyrinth! We used to make it easier for the younger players by letting them have all their cards at once. Adults had to turn one over at a time.

Itsnotdeep · 29/10/2021 08:27

monopoly cheat goes down well with my dd.

Other than that, I agree with Uno - there are various versions now. And also mine likes Pit. But it's a bit shouty and we don't like playing it with er!

ImJustMum · 29/10/2021 08:27

Junior monopoly is a big hit in our house. So is a simple game of go fish or uno

Silversun83 · 29/10/2021 16:25

My five-year-old is currently obsessed with the junior version of Cluedo. It's currently reduced to £9.50 on Amazon.

The perpetrator breaks a toy, rather than commits murder.. It did take me about three games before I stopped calling them murderers though Grin

orinocosfavoritecake · 29/10/2021 16:55

Another vote for Outfoxed. Hoot owl hoot is good too.

Concestor · 29/10/2021 16:56

Mousetrap

Beekindbeehumble · 29/10/2021 22:14

EssaysOfElia · 29/10/2021 22:26

My DS7 loves junior cluedo, junior articulate and ludo.
He also loves exploding kittens, uno and we’ve just discovered uno flip!
I also love all these games 😊

terrywynne · 29/10/2021 22:30

Outfoxed
Dragomino
Junior Catan (5 year old might find that a bit challenging)
My first ticket to ride

plantastic · 29/10/2021 22:57

I Saw It First is a big hit here, plus they can do it entirely on their own.

NeverHomeAlone · 30/10/2021 08:09

Thank you. Lots of new games there we haven't got already

My first ticket to ride is brilliant
My first carcassonne is a favourite in our house

We got a new one a few weeks ago called Monza. It’s fun for adults and the children (even my 4 year old) can play it independently)

Moomarre · 30/10/2021 08:20

Kids of carcassone
