so what are your dcs going to be in the Christmas play?

my ds is in in reception and will be a sheep, not a fantastic debut performance perhaps but he would hate having the main part as he only likes to show off at home!

he does get to say baaa though! My poor nephew is a non-speaking camel!

DS1 is a drummer and DS2 is a goose!

They are doing their version of 12 Days of Christmas.

ds3 is a wise man.
dd1 is fuming because she has four words and an indeterminate role.
ds2 is fuming as he has no show this year.
ds4 too young.

DS2 is one of the narrators (there are either two or three narrators, depending on whose mum you believe ).

DD is 4 and a half and about to leave pre-school.
She is "an important star". Has to say "they sky was filled with angels and stars rejoicing" while beckoning the little stars and angels onto the stage.
She is quite pleased though we had a bit of a wobble when she was worried that her costume would not be sparkly enough.

Narrator Although, not as important as it sounds as there appears to be (mixed yr1 and 2 play) 17plus narrators as DD is number 17

DS is a camel but is also narrating the prologue and epilogue despite his speech delay - I am a very proud mummy!

DS[4] is in school nursery and is the lead shepard apparently...

forgot to say he is in reception and there are 2 classes per year, doing Ralf the reindeer with the nursery classes

Ahhhemm.. DD (4) is going to be Mary in the nursery performance BUT .... there are only two girls in the running, and the other one is painfully shy, so....

DD (8) is not on the stage at all this year, but last year he was an ugly sister! so proud...

My dd (4) is also going to be Mary in the reception nativity. I'm stupidly pleased as I only ever got to be the innkeeper,s wife... I know who even knew he had a wife!

dd reception is a star ds nursery says he's nothing just singing, listening to them sing in welsh is sooo sweet but i'm very quickly learning that I am going to have deep problems keeping up. I only knew what they were on about from the actions lol.

Ds1 is an urchin. A bit easier than previous years when he was a surfer and a planet.
Ds2 is a shepherd.

ds1 in recpt. whole class are angels.
ds2 in nurseryclass. whole lot are lambs.

DS1 (yr2) is the earth + DS2 (yr1) is 'child no.3'. Fortunately they're both in the same play so just one nativity this year

DD, Y1, is a sheep along with the rest of her class. She has a costume from Woolworths which baas when you press the ear.
