my ds is in in reception and will be a sheep, not a fantastic debut performance perhaps but he would hate having the main part as he only likes to show off at home!

he does get to say baaa though! My poor nephew is a non-speaking camel!

Ds (6) is a Native American Indian. One of his classmates' dad had brought back a fantastic headdress, which he has very kindly lent to DS. Its particularly kind as his son is in the same play as a dreary Scots person. DS is also Joseph .

DD (4) is an angel. The levels of glitter involved are in line with her expectations/requirements.

Did I miss the bit where there was a native American Indian at the Birth of Jesus?

He's going to be Joseph. I think. Haven't been told but his lines turned up in his book bag yesterday. He has the right name after all

Ds - reception class was allowed to pick out of an Angel/Shepherd/Farm animal, ds picked a Shepherd so a shepherd he is

Dd (7) is going to be the Inn Keeper's Wife (main female part) and ds (5) is dancing to a Take That song as is all his class.

An owl - am struggling to remember the role of an owl in the nativity but sure it will come to me!

DD2 is Mary. Last year she was a shepherd so she is very pleased. She has one line, which is "Please little donkey, can you take me to beflehem" and everyone knows it.

Just back from one of mine - DS1 was a Villager (aka the choir) and DS2 was a superhero and a total superstar [proud mummy]
