A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

Has someone received a boots voucher in the last week? I sent one last week and am worrying it hasn't got to the right place

Just wanted to say a big thank you to whoever sent me the three lovely rattles for my unborn baby last week. Sorry for the delay in my thanks I have had a lost internet connection for a while.

I also want to say a huge huge thank you to the lady that came to deliver a present today in person, on her way from Bluewater with her lovely little girl. It was more than generous, a new outfit for my 14 month old- toys and smellies and chocolates for mummy!

Had a really horrible day today, debt collection letters this morning, went to DS1s carol concert and couldn't see him but could hear him asking his teacher where i was(turns out we were sat above where he was sat), SPD is HURTING today in one hip and just generally feeling v down.
Came home from ILs to your parcels and burst into tears straight away

DS2 (2.5) obsessed with Lola which is rubbing off on DS1-luckily he likes charlie!

They like similar things actually, cars, trucks, trains, books, things to build with (we have a small box of teh same kind of lego as you sent but not new or that particular one),ITNG, Noddy for DS2 erm.... they are pretty amenable(is that a word?) actually but you had them spot on

BTW i think your address was on teh back of one of the parcels so the least i can do is get the boys to make you a card to say thank you x

the voucher means i can get DP the mince pies he craves every year! (i don't get them normally, only he eats them and they are too expensive to have on teh normal shopping list!)

I feel a bit to be posting a thank you on here, when we are in no financial need, but thank you very much to both whoever nominated me - you are very observant to have noticed that this year hasn't been all rosy, and I am most intrigued as to your identity - and to whoever sent a present which arrived today. I haven't opened it yet - I tend to know what most of my Christmas presents are in advance, so I'm going to save this one to be a surprise on the day, but it is wrapped in green paper with hanging baubles on it, and was posted from a DN postcode.

Thank you so much. I haven't looked to see how much is on the gift card but I am so touched. It was a lovely surprise and has made me feel all gushy and gooey and soppy and now I'm a bit tearful. thank you DM for the parcel i recieved this morning. as there was nothing on the pressies, i opened them very carefully, and one is a gift for me and the other is something for Callum. You have no idea how much I appricate (sp?) this.
they have been wrapped back up and will be under the tree on xmas day
