A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

divamummy2 · 12/12/2007 17:40

Im glad my parcels arrived safe. Sparklygothkat, if the blue box was wrapped in winnie the pooh wrapping paper, that should be from me.{grin]

[festive beam]

so you liked the hamper expat? hope it all got there in one piece. the random bulb of garlic is smoked btw - if you hadnt figured that out. dunno if that means you can eat it raw - maybe you should try it and report back?

well i am chuffed to bits if it managed to 'lift your mood' for even a second. thanks for making me feel all festive.

Paddlechick666, you are more than welcome and how fantastically spooky!

We often think about you and you have been in our thoughts a lot so far this Christmas...I am so so pleased that things have started to turn around for you, how great that you are in a new home! I also believe there are no such thing as coincidences, we have been brought together again for a reason :-)

My computer died at the beginning of the year and left me with no contact addresses or e-mails which is why you haven't heard from me.

Wishing you a fantastic Christmas and New year in your new home - Joe & Family x

Today to my great (& very happy) surprise we received another parcel (from a mumsnetter in TW11 postcode)! I just can't believe your kindness, the presents are beautifully wrapped and have been stowed carefully away from DS to await christmas! and thank you so much for the voucher- I will resist the urge to spend it on the DCs but on me instead!Thank you so so much for your kind generosity.

HayCHingleBells & madmumnikasecretsanta- Thank you I am a very lucky lady and I feel positively spoilt! I didn't know what to expect from a secretsanta and this scale of kindness & generosity has overwhelmed me (5 parcels!!!! wow!!!), I just can't believe we have been sent so many gifts! Not sure we are deserving of all of this!! It has been a tough month for DD and this has brought many welcome smiles, and reminded me of how good life is really.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Merry Christmas & wishing you all the best life has to offer for 2008 xxxxxxxxxxxx

madmumNika · 12/12/2007 21:06

PS. Not sure I explained in my first post here but I also received a parcel containing 2 new gifts, unwrapped (lamaze rattle & soft stuff kit)- at first I assumed that all the parcels had come from the same mumsnetter but now realise that they are from more than one!! The presents are brilliant, I have hidden them & will wrap them for DS & DD THANK YOU!! Words are really failing me.... xxx

SantaInTW11 · 12/12/2007 21:16

MadmumNika, I'm glad they arrived safely. I really hope that you and your DCs like the pressies. I realised after sending them that I was supposed to send them unwrapped, so please feel free to unwrap and re-wrap them if you'd like to check them out before christmas. Wishing you and your family a great christmas and a happy 2008

Jas · 12/12/2007 21:33

I didn't know I had been nominated until today, and got three boxes all at once
Thankyou to both my santas...one has stocked my kitchen for Christmas(I know who you are ) and he other sent loads of presents including a spiderman toy for ds. I know she is a fellow pedant and has a three year old ds (the clothes are great too)

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 12/12/2007 21:49

Jas!

Tortington · 12/12/2007 23:05

DanaScully · 12/12/2007 23:05

Custy folks are searching frantically for you!

CantSleighWontSleigh · 12/12/2007 23:12

You're welcome Jas. Hope there's something for everyone in there, and that you all enjoy stuffing your faces over Christmas .

Pinkchampagne · 13/12/2007 08:21

Thank you so much to the very kind MNer who sent my boys pyjamas, a hot wheel set with batteries, and some Christmas wrapping paper.
I am overwhelmed by the kindness of someone I have probably never even met.
My boys can't wait to wear their pjs tonight, and DS1 is a big Spiderman fan, so they were just perfect for him!
Thank you thank you so much.xx

Notyummy · 13/12/2007 08:33

Hi LL

Do you know (through your secret spooky rabbit powers...)if my parcel has arrived. It wasn't hugely valuable so I would like to think that noone would bother nicking it in the mail system...but just want to make sure! Not bothered about thanks because thats not why it was done, and I have noted what you said about some of the recipents having internet connectivity isooshs and not being able to log on.

Thanks.

TenLordsaLapin · 13/12/2007 08:38

Firing up the database as we speak!

TenLordsaLapin · 13/12/2007 08:44

Your recipient's on this thread Notyummy, she wasn't very specific but by process of deduction I reckon she's said thank you down there vvvvvvvvvvvv somewhere

TenLordsaLapin · 13/12/2007 08:44

those were supposed to be down arrows!

Notyummy · 13/12/2007 09:00

Good news. Thanks LL.

SantasWhiskers · 13/12/2007 09:06

LL - any idea if mine have arrived? I sent 2 to the lady with 2 & 1 to the lady with the bump (if that makes any sense?). I did send them rec del but blardy RM keeps telling me it can't recognise the tracking code

Sorry to be a pain m'dear but like others I don't want to see anyone disappointed.

'tis GreebosWhiskers btw

TenLordsaLapin · 13/12/2007 09:15

Have emailed both, but one has been offline for a few weeks and I haven't had any replies to emails, I think her PC is broken again. Will let you know if I hear.

I'm offline for most of today, so if anyone has a question, please email to [email protected] and I will deal with it later, OK? Thank you.

JingJanglingrecieversaidthanks · 13/12/2007 11:13

JingJanglingBexieHoHoHo,

Think I have just recieved a parcel (well, can't see to many other mn-ers from Markham!) from you - well, not a parcel but a big box.

Lots of presents for the my dc, I'm more excited then they are.Opened my present though and got a lovely hotwater bottle and cover. (Was planning on buying one after Christmas for my SDP, so thank you very much).

I really can't believe how much you have offered.

Wishing everyone a very special Christmas.

Veryverythankful · 13/12/2007 11:50

J in wales, thanks so much for the feathers and crayons, perfect for my arty DD .

To the mumsnetter who sent us £10 ELC card (more art supplies!), lovely bar of choc and a little gold wrapped pressie for me (I'm saving opening it for the day) thanks for thinking of me too!

I didn't expect to receive more than the one gift and I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of you all- thank you, thank you, thank you!
