A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

I had a wonderfull card offering me and the dc's break away in a B&B next year which I was blown away with...it really is too much, also had a package with some PJ's for dd and a sticker book for ds and another book, which are perfect, had some ELC vouchers and a huge box of parcels containing a lovely outfit for dd, spiderman outfit for ds among other things.
I have been so overwhelmed with the kindness of mumsnet and thank you all soooo much for thinking of my dc's - I will try to make this a good Christmas for them even if it isn't for me and with all the gifts that you marvelous people have sent them I am sure that they will. ThankYou

To the person that sent the cars and toys - brilliant! The boys will love them! And to the person that sent the thomas toys - they are massive fans so will be over the moon! I have recieved a parcel with 2 wrapped pressies, and have opened it carefully and one is a blue box with an outfit in it. I have wrapped it back up and its in the box of pressies for xmas day
