A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

LOL, have a look at the contents, it's hilarious, I love the way it goes from 25 Person Foie Gras en Croûte, 1.09kg and Beluga Caviar, 200g tin to Lemon Curd, 908g jar

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 11/12/2007 13:26

And neither goats cheese nor seafood...... hmmmm - the bird knows what the bird wants. Come on, it is Christmas only once a year! Lets DO it!

Joke.

SantasGotABigFatEllieG · 11/12/2007 16:37

I am a little bit worried my parcel has not arrived. I really don't care about knowing and don't want thanks but I would hate to think someone was expecting something and had not got there.

WhenScoobyGotStuckUpTheChimney · 11/12/2007 16:42

Yorkiegirlsecretsanta · 11/12/2007 19:08

Yorkiegirl, glad you liked it. Mine was the one with the reindeer. Have a great christmas xxx

PillockOfTheCommunity · 11/12/2007 19:10

Right, boys are in bed and peace reigns once more

I had a parcel from the book people courtesy of JR in Guildford. We've had the Winnie the Witch books from the library before and ds1 adores them, so I can't wait to see his face when he opens up that parcel on christmas morning

Then came a huge box from DHL, with a card signed "the madhouse of family". It was absolutely packed full of gifts, I have a parcel to open (am trying very hard to resist peeking as it'll be one of very few that I get to open on christmas morning!) There was also a book for me to read, saving that for christmas night once the boys are in bed, some paper to wrap the other things in, and then too many toys! I haven't even got to the bottom of the box yet there are so many . There are also some very cute clothes for ds2, christmassy ones and a snuggly dressing gown. I do need to ask a question of you, the 3-6 month set is too small so would it be okay for me to pass them on to a friend with a younger baby or would you like them back? I reckon the DHL courier was cursing you, the noisy toys were switched on and making a right row whenever the box was knocked

You have all made such a difference to our christmas, I took ds1 out for a walk today to find things to paint and use to decorate the house, and after I cooked tea I put some slices of orange in there to dry out ready to become impromtu tree decorations THANK YOU, it's not enough just to say that, but I hope just how much we appreciate it comes across, and I promise to take photos and post on my profile after the day
